This song is not supposed to sound very happy, nor is this supposed to be a hint to whether the band is coming back together again. The music video for this song, which is age restricted for obvious reasons, shows many scenes from a very frightening and tragic day for America. In other words, it shows scenes from the 9/11 attacks. I believe this song was made to show how we did not let this event stop us and that we would rebuild. The lyrics "keep it coming back" means we have built a newer and stronger tower and we will most likely do the same thing if another event destroys our current tower. The lyrics "okay jump" most likely describe what people in the upper levels of the tower told themselves, knowing they couldn't go down a safe way and that they wouldn't survive. It was either burn or jump. There are most likely other lyrics in this song that further prove my point. I thank Joe and Ross for recognizing this event. My prayers go to all innocent people that were killed that day. Some we will remember as heros. Everyone lost life in the towers, pentagon, and 4 planes (except the terrorists) I believe are now peaceful and free of pain. Thank you for reading, and sorry about how long this is.
