Thanks for showing my old neighborhood back in the early 1970s. Lived at 754 Washington Avenue between Sterling Place and Park Place. That fortress building across the street is the satellite 77 police precinct. It's still standing.

Where's all the hoes at?

My old neighborhood. Used to walk on Jamaica Ave between 80th Street and Woodhaven Blvd all the time growing up there in the late 80’s up till 2004 when I moved out. Used to live on 91st Ave and 87th Street and THANK YOU for walking past my old home. Brings back so many memories.

Interesting how imposing the overhead rail lines are. Feels a bit like Kensington.. Or maybe this is just what American cities look like now. @ 2:34 - insanely long red light.

I lived in Ridgewood from age 1-8 1/2 (1961-1969) and wonder often how I would have turned out if my family hadn't left for the rural Northern NJ area. I fondly remember Our Lady of Miraculous Medal Church (my elementary school), the Oasis Theatre, Karl Ehmer's store on Fresh Pond Road, the local Bohack and so much more.

I appreciated your hard works buddy.

I miss living up north so bad! I cant wait to move back!

I grew up in East Williamsburg not far from this drive on Scholes Street. I used to ride my bike along this street when he past Bushwick.
