definitely in my top 10 fiona apple songs alright so i had a bunch of audio troubles with this one because turns out pianos are really hard to record without distortion if you dont have a good mic (i dont have a good mic). i ended up being able to avoid most of the really bad distortion but that meant that the audio had to be a little quieter. so if you want to have a better auditory experience...

it's a guitar that was made in costa rica a little over forty years ago, so it's not from a specific brand or anything. it just says "guitarras Guzman" on the inside which i guess must have been the people who made it!

You got a very pleasant and calming voice 💜 You definitely earned my subscription. I've never actually heard the original song, but you sound great singing it. And you play the piano very well. It's also relatable, the exasperation you had in the beginning that is. I've been there many times trying to record myself XD You also have an excellent microphone, what mic do you use? I need some tips cause everything I've recorded on thus far has NOT done my voice justice 😅🤣
thank you so much! the mic i used was just the one on my earbuds - specifically the apple ones (though i’m sure other more affordable earbud brands have good mics). i tied them to a tripod like a meter or something away from my face lol so not a professional mic at all but it works so much better than just my phone mic
