Eğer tiktokta çıkan bir akımı bile kaçırırsak bir şeylere geç kalmış hissi yaşıyoruz. Sürekli bildirimlere bağımlı halde yaşıyoruz. Bu bir tuzakmış gibi hissettiriyor. Sosyal medyada sunulan ürünler bizmişiz gibi. Maksimalist bir hayat tarzından, sahte mutlu yüzlerden ya da karamsar haberlerden çok daha fazlası var dünyada. Bu tuzaklar güzellikleri veya sert gerçekleri görmemizi engelliyor. Dediğim gibi evet başta kendimizi değiştirmeliyiz fakat bizim bunu yapmamanız için uğraşan, bunun için milyarlar kazanan sosyal medya yöneticilerinin de bunun için bizim iradesizliğimizi suçladığını da unutmamalıyız. Eğer teknoloji bağımlılığından dolayı zorlanıyorsanız da bunun tek suçlusunun siz olmadığı bilin.

Unfortunately for visitors jobs in Australia are not as easy to get as they once were because of the number of people that here on tempoary visas. As well as competing with others on WHVs you will also be in competition with students (760,000 of them this year) who are here on study visas especially in the bigger cities. Sure there will always be seasonal work like fruit picking but that can get pretty physical and is not for everyone. if you are looking for jobs in the more popular regional areas in the food service or tourism support industries be prepared to join the queue or to move to less popular areas.. You may be lucky and walk straight into a job but doing that is getting harder and harder you are more likely to spend time searching. . The Australian government signed a trade agreement with the British government that took restrictions off WHVs and extended the time that UK citizens can stay in the country which has also resulted in an influx of people taking advantage of that agreement. As an Aussie I am not trying to put you off coming here just giving you prewarning that it may not be as easy to find employment as this video makes out. By the way if you misrepresent how much money you have in the bank as this guy suggested and you cant find work after you arrive you may find yourself stranded a long way from home without any means of supporting yourself.

i resonated with this so much! i've attempted to delete instagram on my phone and would relapse and go on my browser to stay connected with people and trends. now my approach is to keep social media on my ipad & have my phone be the avenue to create content rather than to consume content.

Love your balanced take on it! Social media is a part of many jobs now and of society in general, but it is also addictive af, so it's such a tough balance to strike. I'm happy you found what works for you, and some of those I might try out hehe:)

I suppose everything in life can be enjoyed, but extremes in my opinion are not so good.

I initially decided to dedicate all my social media usage to my laptop, making it a place I visit rather than having social media everywhere I go with my phone. I struggled with balancing the desire to post freely while maintaining my privacy. I realized that my sense of privacy couldn’t be fully secure with the entitlement of others, including companies using my data for their purposes. So, I chose to delete everything. Since then, my attention span for long-form media has improved, and I feel much more secure in my privacy. I really appreciate your different approaches to dealing with social media-finding what works for you definitely requires some trial and error.

That’s why they are number one. Their marketing strategies are (unfortunately) working out very well. Take for example the lack of ports they have for other media, oh no they couldn’t fit it in with the slim design 🥲 but at least we can buy the adapter for 60€🤣

Dont quote me, but on the licence thing im pretty sure you can have a licence thats not in English but you just need an offical translation document that you need to pay for and carry with you.

I think there were several amazing points made in this video, however I don’t agree with all of them. I also acknowledge that i’m not very well traveled, as I just turned seventeen a few months ago, i’m also an introvert, and american- but this also means I am surrounded by people my age who are being effected by these instant gratification rabbit holes- the main being tiktok or instagram reels. i’ve noticed a huge decrease in attention span, social interaction, engaging in hobbies, and so so much more just from the social isolation these sites bring.. and it’s worse because they are highly addicting and we are their target demographic. i’ve deleted almost all social media sites, switched to (mainly) long form content, tried to take life a bit slower… but I still watch a few episodes of my shows every now and then or treat myself to a fancy coffee just for the fun of it. I think there should be a balance between the fun and the life, a balance that is being cut out due to the addiction these apps provide. yet, as you described, is the self improvement really self improvement if that is all you are doing? Overall so many great points said in this video though and I am definitely subbing for more content, keep smiling
