Some really good pick ups here - the nemesis game is pretty good, Nightfire is a great 007 game and those two PS1 games look very interesting - we may be better off just sending each other mystery boxes lol

To your point about having the developer on the title, I'm pretty sure this was a point of contention for developers at the time. People can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Activision splintered off from Atari because they weren't being recognized as individuals who developed games. So when they started their own company, giving the devs their credit was important. This was the day when a single person would code a whole game typically, therefore just a single person's credit. Eventually, games became more complex and time consuming to code for, and multiple people would work on games. Before credit was given officially, developers would hide their names in the game somwhere, giving us the first recorded "Easter eggs" in games. It really was the Wild West of gaming where you could name your game a word from the dictionary such as "dragster," "skiing," etc. and people weren't so uptight with copyright and trademarks. There were dozens of Pac-Man and Frogger clones, for example.
