Subaru crosstrek in the snow (lifted)
มุมมอง 3342 ปีที่แล้ว
Taking my 2018 Subaru crosstrek out in the snow. I just put a 1 inch Rough country lift kit (90300) and Falken wildpeak trail AT -225/60/18 tires. These are the biggest tires you can run on stock wheels. I’m incredibly pleased with how well it did. I did this same drive a year ago fully stock and had to turn around because the tires were slipping and I was bottoming out. None of this issues thi...

Scored some old mini bike frames. Picked one and decided to try to get it together and running as fast as possible. Put a 212 predator motor, new tires, clutch and break.

Lesley and Andrew set out on their longest motorcycle ride so far. Andrew is on a 1998 Harley Davidson Road King. Lesley is on a 2007 Honda Shadow 600. Follow them as they go from Englewood Tennessee to Ingles Florida and back.
Honda Shadow 600 Review
มุมมอง 7422 ปีที่แล้ว
Took a stock Honda Shadow 600 on an 1,100 mile trip to Florida and back to Tennessee.
Did you have to re jet carbs?
lol. That should work.
Thank you.
Purple Rain? Then I saw why. Nice van.
Did you have to rejet the carb ??
Sounds good
I drilled the baffles out of my shadow phantom 750, sounds alot better now.
Oh fuck yeah sounds great! Awesome to the point video, no extra BS. Much appreciated! I'm about to do mine on my lunch break at work lol baffles are lame!
I’m about to do at least 1600 miles on my 94 600. I’m getting about 48 mpg but I ride at 75-80mph on the interstate. What would you say your average speed was on this trip? About 65 maybe? Your gas milage is excellent.
Yep shes cold collered. I had one that did the same thing. Let it below 40 degrees and you pump it a lot and start it twice every time.
Like the purple - my wife loved that color. I will be painting our old van purple in her memory when I'm done with all the custom mods - 5-7 inch drop on a full custom tube frame, dutch side and rear doors, new 3.0L Diesel or a Carburetor LT-1 In the mean time - it still setting
Clean fuel filter Check carb choke setting Check vacuum for leaks Adj timing... Also check plugs for correct heat resistant (range) - I prefer iridium spark plugs...
Thanks for the short and sweet video, lol! Just went to Lowe's to get the hole but and going to work on it this weekend... 😁🤙🏼
You can depend on your chevrolet! Good Old reliable g series
Did you need to sync yours carbs after this?
If it's ur first time on interstate. Focus. Don't talk and film. Lol
She's a beauty
I wonder if it isn't too loud. I love the sound, but i don't want to damage my ears
I have a shadow 750 and removed the baffles out of the stock exhaust, its definitely louder but really only when you get on the throttle. I don't think this mod is louder than Cobra or Vance & Hines aftermarket pipes.
Did you have to rejet after you removed them
Just a heads up guys... this is not as easy as portrayed here... you need a hole saw that is at least 2.5 inches long. I had one that was 1 7/8 inch long and would not cut deep enough made a mess of it, I removed the lower bracket ( bout 6 bolts ) to get at the lower one without drilling crooked and breaking a finger. lol finaly got a hole saw that was long enough to do the job and worked ok... sounds great!!!
It’s 100% that easy. Wasn’t hard at all.
I want one. nice van.
Honda never should of stopped making the 600 vlx 🥲
Thank you. I’m going to give that a try 😆
Keep that baby and keep riding. I have a 2000 VT600 with 158,000 on it that's been from SC to CA twice, Niagara Falls and Key West, and many places in between. You take care of it, and it will last and last.
Can original parts be ordered by the factory for the g10??
I really like your van but my wife would fall in love with your van that’s her favorite color
👍👍
👍👍
This makes me want another van.
Great!!!
Sweet van! I've had 4 VW vans and a shorty Chev van. I miss them all.
Thanks so much. It’s been fun putting it together.
Looks good
Like your channel as I too ride a vlx. Not a fan of speeded up video though. We miss the easy riding and with music we miss the sound of that V twin.
I’ll be putting some more videos up in regular speed soon.
Do a 41 tooth rear sprocket swap you will be much happier with it
Thanks for the tip.
👍👍from this guy
Nice van. Cool I like it.
Thanks

@@adventuresoflesleyvansandbikes awesome can’t wait to see more- following now!! 💜💜
I have a pretty new Coleman bike, but I fear the day I have to start messing with the tires/wheels. Always seems like a major pain getting those things on and off!
Ya that’s always the fun part.
This is the best sounding representation I've found so far of the difference in sound. Thank you.
No problem. Hope it helps.
Sounds amazing
Thanks
Love the color of the exterior and interior.
Thanks me too. Stay tuned for more on the build.
That's one slick van
Thank you. I’ll be doing more videos of her soon.
Should be able to hear you now
It made a big difference riding back home
Love it 😍
Fun fun! The slow races.. I’d fall over 😂
The slow race is my favorite.

So glad you got to do this! 💗💖
It was a great experience.
