Poor young man! He had just found a friend only to lose him to his companions’ brutal actions. Quite poignant. I loved the young man’s happy dance when he believed he’d captured his first prisoner.
Done exceedingly well, not easily & point well taken. Deserved "kudos" to all involved...
Very sophisticated short, puts to shame many main stream films. Deserves an award from some one. Well done to all involved.
They have a bad case of the uglies.
No words for: 'too young to be a warrior', 'I captured an enemy with a slice of melon and I am a warrior now!', 'be silent or we may die', 'you saved my life', 'you're killing an innocent!', 'I didn't kill the enemy', 'I will never forget'. Kudos for a tragedy told in silence.
Loved it♥️👌.
Love it!
<3 <3
quite a ridiculous fantasy. sorry
Sachi much appreciate your achievement!
PART 2??? 🌺🍃
Awesome 🍃🌺🌺 thank u for this Film.
Nice story and well shot. Cheezy props though. Solid 8 out of 10. Good job.
I would not be afraid of the cartoon sword either.
I think its a metaphor for the metals of bravery we give our soldiers for killing our supposed enemies.
very good but sad
Sword and shield were a bit much all in all not bad
Wow these are international level films. Why not seen any more of them ?
So 😔
There noses are gigantic and creepy.
I thought it was terrific. Should be required viewing in all US secondary schools. Thanks!
What the heck is this story?
~Good movie. shame about the plastic toy swords
very nice
I like it... a bit. Poor guys - so skinny. No McDonalds around, I guess.
Nice one.
Wow
Well done brother! ❤️
Yashodha Suriyapperuma, the busker, is a real actor and a real humane individual. Thanks for the unexpected turn of events. The HTM, Human Transfer Machine, was not more humane than an ATM until the busker's act of kindness.
Sorry! the swords and other inaccuracies put me off...I didn't stopped watching.
Well made.
I have a costume cingulum just like that.
cool styrofoam swords
Collateral damage of both youths, due to the forced inheritence of war, was at play here. It has, & will always be so, in every third world country until the time *''When He Returns''. -former recondo sgt. '' rock'' 82nd abn. 71-74 11318 *www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/bobdylan/whenhereturns.html
An excellent production and screenplay. Too many of these comments indicate a naked and glaring cultural bias and ignorance that got in the way of them enjoying the film. How sick is that? It's a neurosis. The kind that fuels racism, sexism and all the other 'ISM Schisms' that pervade Western cultures. The film is set in a environment that is very HOT so of course they would not be wearing much clothes. That has nothing to do with technology. The terms stone age, bronze age, and iron age are three classic divisions of history based on the chief material used for tools and weapons at different stages in the history of 'man'. These ages were first used as classifications for dating artifacts found in *Europe* . They are not referred to quite as often as they used to be because, as it turned out, dates varied drastically for the uses of these metals around the world and even among the various parts of Europe more than was first thought. Some civilizations skipped a period: Sub-Saharan Africa went straight from stone to iron skipping Bronze Age altogether. All of the precious metals are present in Asia and, just as in Africa, the use of alloys started earlier than Europe. Along with mining for gemstones. So the intricate wood carvings which match perfectly with the delicate work on those leather girdles, the dyes used for body art and tattoos, the jewelry AND the swords are *not* far fetched by any means. Try accepting this gift, of hard work and dedication invested in this film, as it is and keep the presuppositions to yourself. So that those who have not seen it don't have their experience ruined due to the ignorance others.
Sorry, the sword looked plastic
I like how you managed to convey what you needed to without words.
ssppeellll Yeah,I feel the same way
Maybe they were telepathic , every thought of that ?
Seems like a rather technologically primitive people to be carrying swords as fancy as the one at 1:19. "Shut up. It's just a story. If you can't just watch and enjoy it, go away." Fine. Just sayin'.
ssppeellll ,I was actually thinking the same as you (the first part of what you' ve said) Unlike you I think it's alwas cool to think, tought.
ssppeellll and it looked really plastic! I mean for all the nice make up they should have just made sticks with some carved stones on the end
Yup the prop department dropped the ball with that one.
I really like the tale. As a boy you yearn for the chance to prove yourself to be one of the big kids. But you may find that the initiation is more burden than it's worth.
ssppeellll who says they are primitive, look at the Aztec and Myan civilization they were above us just about with reading the stars and seasons and building pyramids. Making a mold for shields and swords was done by many what some called primitive
He owes his savior a nice hard fuck!
INAYA ❤ 😃
Would have preferred to see him put the armband on his dead friend.
me too thats what I thought he was going to do
They didn't have to say a single word, for us to understand. Nicely done. Kudos to everyone in making this short.
Excellent. Really enjoyed that. Well done.
Very nice! I liked it a lot! Where are you guys from?
Thanks! Sri Lanka.
Mrs Montgomery Cool! I look forward to see your work, that's cool to see different things like this
Nice story
Where is the location of this garage?
You are a master making a short story without saying a single word. For that, you should get an international success, there is no language barrier.
Very nice job with the makeup and camerawork
Silent good job !!!!
Good short movie ...no words...
