Babydoll Top Sewing Tutorial // Pattern Available
มุมมอง 25Kปีที่แล้ว
PATTERN AVAILABLE HERE: sundayschoolpatterns.etsy.com I'm so happy to be releasing my first ever sewing pattern with you all! It's a babydoll top featuring open front panels and an elasticized back. The lace and ribbon details give the top such a dainty cutie vibe. I've named her the Prairie Top as I've always been inspired by traditional victorian silhouettes and styles, but ofc she's been mod...
I dont get how to do the burrito method 😢,
Hey ! You can find a lot of videos on the internet about the burrito method ❤
How long typically does it take from start to finish? (:
I'm more like a beginner and don't have all the extra equipment (don't have an overlocker and had to cut the fabric by hand) and I'm halfway now after 8 hours (excluding buying materials and washing/drying the fabric).. So it takes quite some time!!
What machine do you use?! Love love love this video!
From where did u get printed pattern 🥲 please reply
it’s in the videos description, if u need somewhere with a printer libraries normally have ones u can use:)
I’ve never sewed before but really want to wear this style and it’s not possible for me because I’m fuller bust, does anybody know whether there’s hope for me to make it? I’m nervous about possibly having to break the size guide, but surely I just have to take into account more space up top and can keep the bottom bodice the same, right?
yes i feel like u could make it! u just need a little more fabric and maybe more intense darts. i would search up sewing dresses for fuller busts and learn about how to use seams and darts to get the fit you want and apply that knowledge to this tutorial:)
@@ghost-cat420 thank you so much! I will totally try that. I appreciate the advice!
What are you doing for the facing to stay in position under the armholes ?
Do we have to buy the pattern
Yess !
do you think using an eyelet fabric would be too heavy?
@@parischey4528 no! I think it would work really nicely :)
thank you for the disclaimers at the beginning! super helpfull
Hi! I was wondering what interfacing you used for both your white and denim versions?
What’s if I am not using a facing or a lining ?
The pattern is designed to be made with a lining or a facing, but you could finish the armholes and neckline with bias tape!
hiii is it possible to use linen without lining
Have the same question 😅. I was just wondering if the fabric was thick and rigid enough to not need the use of interfacing
What iron do you use?:)
Yoooo. I keep seeing this in pinterest. And it was you??!??
Yup!! ❤️
if the content is painting :Brush please! , Sewing : Pattern please ! , it the same anywhere !
We are simple creatures
so pretty! i'll try it out real soon. ty!
should you put the seam allowances?
Seam allowance is included :) it’s 1 cm unless stated otherwise
hello. do you know how to sew mid waisted capri pants and mini ruffle shorts ?
Great pattern! May I ask what program you used to make- the pattern? :)<3
What lining/facing was used for the dark wash denim version of this top?
I used a facing! I used some random cheap fabric from fabricland and unfortunately the fabric content was unknown! It was just a simple medium weight woven fabric that I stabilized with interfacing!
@@LittlePippeth Does the facing fabric need to match the colour of the denim or does it not matter?
@@tarsila1413it doesn’t matter!
