I like buses on narrow challenging routes and I'm transfixed by maps so put one and one together you get bus maps.
Hastings bus changes 23rd July 2023
Not to much has majorly changed to routes but have greatly improved frequency and later running buses. Yet again not great at explaining what actually changed but there we go.

Just updating some maps after July changes, thought I'd make a video. Not sure how interesting this is but changes always interest me. Not great at explaining them unfortunately so not loads of info. Whitstable buses on diversion

Oxford Street is closed and so the High Street isn't being served making all routes take slightly different diversion routes. A lot of variety in bus models, enjoy! Maps of the diversions are at the end.

Opportunistic video, happened to be walking past and saw it coming down the road. Run by Ashford depot since an Optare Solo is needed for the route and Herne Bay don't have any.

Thought I'd look at bus route changes in Kent over the past 2 years of which most recent have happened in February 2023. I haven't done a talking video before and have a terrible mic. You might enjoy the information but I enjoyed making this so yeah.

Thought tis might look a bit interesting and it turned out fine except messing up part of a recording. Some coaches are a bit hit and miss with tracking and some buses tracking breaks completely and end up in the ocean. Not all operators have tracking yet, but most do. Bus navigates tight squeeze in Kingsdown on the 82

The Rise in Kingsdown near Deal is very narrow and only the smaller Solo's or minibuses are able to fit, if a longer bus gets allocated they have to turn around and miss part of the route out. This is route 82. Recorder it a while ago in 2022 when the service used to be hourly but is now only served 5 times a day into Kingsdown. erm, why not I guess, always loved this game for the challenges but this is the only category with a run so thought I'll go beat it. I have converted my City Skylines save into a professional looking bus map. First exporting to CSL Map View mod which gives a good looking map already but isn't quite polished off. Using Adobe Illustrator and my previous knowledge of making bus maps I have constructed this in a few hours. Bus 7 Canterbury to Herne Bay with 2 diversions

This is the last week before the 7 gets cut and will only run the section from Herne Bay to Sainsbury's via Hillborough. Hayes certainly has a lot of buses passing through it and is right next to Heathrow Airport. On the main road just north there is also the limited stop 607 service from Uxbridge - Shepherd's Bush. Nice video, Arriva are looking to sell their operations in the UK and it's pretty obvious. You could do an update for Dartford and Gravesend as a road has collapsed so buses are re-routed and will be for a few years plus this has also seen the birth in new routes of the 470, 480a & 490a
Unfortunately I haven't made a bus map of Gravesend area to alter, but hopefully in next month or so I'll make one. Interesting set of changes with that road collapse. Didn't know it was for that long, although fixing a cliff is difficult.

I enjoyed this a lot, dartford, gravesham, medway and Maidstone have had serious cuts too but the worse has got to be te Tunbridge Wells and Sevenoaks area, I have the same obsession with maps btw😂

Whoever is in charge of updating the data to the "Bus Open Data Service" has still, after 5 months, not fixed the _glaring_ mistake with Route 411. Because of this, _ANY_ service that gets the data from the Bus Open Data Service", will be displaying incorrect times for incorrect stops for this route. For example, anyone using any apps like UK Bus Checker will find that there should be a Route 411 to Warlingham at 09:21, 11:21, 13:21, 15:20 (extended to Selsdon on Schooldays), 16:30 (on Schooldays) and 17:20 However, Route 411 does _NOT_ go through Timperley Gardens at all. It goes via the A25 between Redhill and Reigate, similar to Metrobus Routes 430/435. If you look at Southdown's official maps, you'll notice that it shows Route 411 goes via Reigate Police Statiopn, not via Timperley Gardens or Wray Common. Only Routes 422/424 do this.
Huh, that is odd. All online sources say Timperley Gardens but yeah, the timetable and map from Southdown says the police station. Thanks for the info. I'll edit that at some point.

Some drivers just know what to do, was a woman driving by the way.
