I loved when I grew up bc I was a young teen when BSB, N’SYNC, Brittney came out and I got to watch the world premieres of their videos on TRL. It was so fun to call up friends after and just gush! Then the 2000’s came right when I was an angry, emo teen and there was tons of music perfect for what I was going through!

I was born 1970 so I was a teenager in the early 80's and even had a band in 1983-84 we were 13 14 year olds and covered pop music and classic rock from the 70's

Such amazing bands like Van Halen- (favorite band) Aerosmith, Def Leppard, Ratt, Poison, White snake, even the best 80’s new wave bands like, Talking heads, Devo, Tears for fears, Joy Division, Etc!

"Closing time" IS about the birth of a baby according to the guy who wrote the song. You can watch a video of him talking about it here on TH-cam. "Go out to the places you will be from" is him telling the baby it's time to go begin their own history. "I know who I want to take me home" is from the baby's perspective as they look at their parents. "Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end" is talking about the end of being a baby in the womb and beginning a new life out in the world.
