I have the misfortune of having a Sportage hybrid on hire while waiting for Honda to supply the dealership with parts needed for my Civic hybrid - the difference is like night and day - I fail to understand how anyone would go into a car dealer thinking a Sportage is the car for them

they want everyone using electric cars but people know how crap they are . after 10 years their batteries are cack . too expensive to replace . this is all geared around putting folk off having petrol and diesel over fake climate change agenda . all this will do is make it so poor folk cant drive at all whilst the rich can do what they like

Best thing is stop buying new cars to show government we are more than money trees They will keep penalizing our freedom for driving cars on Roads that are full of pot holes and ditches - - they certainly are NOT spending money on repairing POORLY maintained roads all over Britain 💯

How refreshing this is, it brought a lump to my throat that all of these people are PROUD when they do a job well, a job for which they are paid. It’s a step back to a time when working people took self pride in doing that work well. I am retired now but looking back, even when the employment I had in factories or the little cleaning jobs I undertook whilst raising my family were small and under appreciated in the bigger picture, I can honestly say I held this sense of pride in my work too. So many people today think they are doing the world a favour and want to do the minimal amount, sometimes very badly, and be celebrated for it. Ah, I am so glad I spotted this video today. I applauded every one of and send my Greetings from North Yorkshire. 😊

If you lease or pcp finance a car, you are renting it. Be very careful about the condition when you are returning or handing it back. You can be held financially liable for any damage not deemed as fair wear and tear. If your car is involved in an accident, always ask the finance company which repair shop they will accept as any repair deemed as a poor repair can cost you a lot of money when the car is returned.

Is the assumption that these will all be brand new? First cars being new is already a no-no, you're going to ding it and curb the wheels, so a used car will always be better. I only say that because there are mentions of both warranty and Apple Car Play, which are features of cars that are new or nearly new. 208 is a pretty good choice, but the 1.2T is dreadful. The Picanto and i10 are probably ideal first cars but only in manual form (the autos are dogshit). The Citroen C3 is a wild choice though, genuinely a terrible car.

I doubt it. The electricity grid for the UK isn’t powerful enough to take every household charging 1-2 electric cars over night every night, the electrical cables and wires in the houses are massively out of date and it will cost trillions to upgrade them to cater for new cars. Only reason developments in hydrogen cars haven’t come about yet is because there is no way to make money from them once they’ve been sold. The only fuel is water and that is basically free. Electric cars need “fuel” electricity so they can be monetised. Hopefully everyone will end up driving hydrogen cars or even vegetable oil cars because there have been developments in that as-well
