@@bluexborn yes, I am truly speechless. I am really at a loss for words. Totally amazing that after the peak in musical creativity era the decline has gone straight down hill with the more development in electronics sounds.

@@jazzcornertv I often think about it...I observe a rise from the 40's to a rare plateau in the 90's and from then on, with some honorable exceptions, there is a kind of decline that produces sadness. I do not know if the machines are to blame, I do not know if it is time to look for culprits. Maybe we have to get out of the emotional place and think about it from another point of view. In the meantime, we do what we can with what we have, which is still a lot.

@@bluexborn My record stands at 1968 and below. I am no way saying that after 1968 there were not more Jazz Standards established, but I did not find any after 1968. I might have been looking in the wrong place. As far as the electronics, the less effort people put in to the music the less feelings was created. Thus capturing the human feeling is quite a more challenging part. With electronics musicianers were able to copy someone's solo note for note while relinquishing their creative mind. Older musicians did not rely on replay they listened closely and studied and did their own in their voice not some one else. I am still trying to figure out what to do with the AM stations available.

The piano player is Hank Johnson. He has been playing since he was 3 yrs old. One of his albums is "The Hank Johnson Trio" its on TH-cam. I have been following him since 2018. Literally.

You are absolutely correct, but it happened so fast most did not know if he needed or if one would be distracting the Master. He clearly showed the importance of always being prepared for the unexpected and improvise. Always teaching for sure and showing preparation.
