I'd like to see this video released to DVD. It is terrific. The only copy I have is the full airing I recorded to VHS in 1981 or 1982 which I long ago ported to mp4. I remember it was 1981 or 1982 because the Shuttle had not launched till 1981 and I already had the tape a long time when I used it to show to my Air Force ROTC class in 1986-1989. I've longed for a higher quality tape than my old VHS tape!

Fantastic! I also have a copy on VHS tape. I looked for this for years as a re-release on DVD, but, so far, no luck. As the narrator, Lloyd Dobbins used to say... "And so it goes."

Actually, it was from the early 80ies. My dad taped it for me, and since I saw it, I was nuts about aircraft. Still have the VHS-tape! :) Thanks for posting (I dont have a VCR anymore...)

Thanks for posting this! I've been looking for it forever. Did you video record it back in the early 80's? I did but then, unfortunately, lost it. One of the great documentaries ever IMHO.

Watching this on Memorial Day. The last time I saw this documentary was over 20 years ago. Thanks for posting.
