Welcome to memoriesadrift, my little corner of the internet.
memoriesadrift is all about embracing the beauty of drifting between ideas, weaving through the tapestry of knowledge, and uncovering treasures in the sea of discovery. Where "wishy-washy" becomes a beacon of positivity instead of a detraction.
Where every day brings new experiences, new insights, and new memories to cherish.
I want to share what I'm interested in and what fuels my curiosity, regardless of how it all connects.
I'm on a journey of exploration, and I want you to join me! Let's build a community where we celebrate our interests and embrace our perpetual curiosity together.

Thanks a lot. Very useful indeed :)
The fuck? Slovak is a new language? Bro slovak has been around since 800 AD. Only issues was that maygar suppressed our language from being written often and for our language to be standardized with its many dialects. Not until the mid 1800’s was our language standardized uniting all slovak dialects into a universal language. Even then asshole maygars (Hungarians) suppressed it until after WWI when us Slovaks were free from a 1000 years of slavery from the maygars.
He's talking about the written language standardization; that didn't come along until the 1840s when Ľudovít Štúr and his students codified and popularized a written standard for Slovak. They were linguists so they had a conscious interest in making Slovak grammar simple. A lot of other European languages standardized written grammar rules far earlier, so there's way more exceptions to rules than Slovak seems to have. As a heritage language learner fact that Slovak grammar, pronunciation, and orthography is a lot more consistent than Czech or Polish is something I'm very, very grateful for.
