"I'd rather be at home on the weekends, chilin with my demons". yeah, that hits hard. Sad that your demons don't judge you, fuss at you, make you feel like you're worthless, yet don't help you either.

Men need an outlet that we can talk to without fear of retribution. Women have all the resources, men don't have that and women will use a man's feelings against him. He can't open up to his wife, he doesnt have an organization to turn to, therapists are majority female so they can't turn there either.

In 2019 there were 5,691 registered deaths by self deletion in England and Wales, equating to an average of over 15 per day. Taking their own life is the single biggest killer of men under the age of 45 in the country. Isn't that shocking, if it isn't it should be. This, of course doesn't include drugs and alcohol. I'm an old man, well 64 and I can tell you I did consider it in my 40's and 50's. I would take a guess that most, if not all men have at some point. I even worked out how financially stable my family would be if I was no longer there. I decided that no matter how unhappy I was I couldn't do it to my family. It's very, very sad and needs special attention from society IMHO

My friend I appreciate what you're doing but sadly society doesn't care about our woes when they wanted to take away men's mental health awareness month we left them we made it pride month for the gays because why not because we just looked at like yeah okay then we got November and now they want to take that away because society looks at men and says we're worthless we don't matter when in reality if if all of us men just said screw it and stopped going to work this society all across the globe would collapse in a day a day they don't care about us they never will it's just a matter of being able to go at it long enough and I get it I appreciate what you say but I'm not they don't care they're never going to there's always going to be people in this world who don't care about others opinions as much as a utopian society where everyone loves each other and cares about each other would be great it's not possible thank you though for the video cuz I did need that

This is exactly why this channel exist. I appreciate the response. Man the truth is the truth but the truth is also sad. The sad part is that we as me taught society how to treat us, how to feel for us and how to see us. In order for us to be seen as different we have to start treating our self different. Self love, Self care is vital. Once we choose ourselves and stand for ourselves, everything in our life and how we are seen will change. It starts with us. Thank you so much for your insite and perspective. Blessing!

As a 52 yr old woman, this song hits hard & makes me cry because I'm the youngest of 6 (3 girls & 3 boys). My Daddy worked a full-time construction job & then would work 2 part-time jobs doing carpenter work to provide for all of us. We always had a roof over our heads, food, clothes, God's Word & discipline. I only saw my Daddy cry twice...once when his mother my grandmother died & once when he disciplined me over a bee sting. My mother never worked & they married when she was 16 & he was 21 back in the 50's. He's in his late 80's now with dementia & calls my mom the lady, and he only knows me now by the nickname he gave me when I was born not my given name which is ok. I've been married twice & neither of them measured up to my Daddy, which as the sole provider for my 2nd husband & my 2 kids, this song though hits me hard on a personal level as the bread winner. And for me, at least my 2 kids appreciate me, love me & I cry when I need to. ❤❤

It is by the grace of God that I am still here at 52. Father of 4. I have always been the sole provider in my home. I sought out suicide many times in my early 20's. I have the scars to prove it, but God had a different plan. My wife of 23 years passed away from breast cancer 5 years ago, leaving me to be a single father of 3. (Our oldest had already gotten married and moved out). I remarried 2 months ago, but my goal now is just to see my last child, who is turning 13 next month out and on his own. After that, I feel like my job is done. I think of death as parole.. I know that's not healthy...but it is what it is. This is just what it's like to be a man...for some of us..

I'm a woman but I've had to take the part of both the man and woman I always have and always will put others before myself. I have played the part of mom and dad caretaker caregiver provider etc I do whatever it takes to take care of the ones I love and care about anyone really I like to be there for anyone who needs me family or not because to me there is no such thing as a stranger I see it as we just haven't met yet. I had a very hard rough and traumatic upbringing not much live given or showm wasn't really told much or hardly at all. I could probably count on 1 hand the times I was told, I was abused physically, mentally, verbally, emotionally was abandoned neglected raped made to sleep on the streets of Houston at 14/15 yrs old whenever my mother was out of heroin which you proudly chose over being a mother 14 yrs old was pawned off to her drug dealer whenever she needed her a quick fix to do as he pleased as my father wasn't ever in my life I could go on forever but I dont think their is enough time. My point is any and everything I know or learn was on me I am who I am today because I know what hell feelsd like and to feel alone and like nobody cares and be surrounded by millions reaching for someone anyone to grab a hold and save me and nobody ever did and I madee a promise and a vow to myself that I would love everyone and do whatever I could to be there for and help any way I could to let everyone know that there is someone who cares and willing to help the best I can. You see that's why I don't judge anyone because you never know what they are or have been through or going through just hold out your hand give them a hug let them know you care. I admit this is the first that I have opened up to the public about my personal life I am a very damaged, dysfuntional, disturbed broken person who does suffer from multiple mental disorders but I hide any and all my emotions, pain etc I dont burden my trauma on people instead I shove me to the back and do and put care for others any day and everytime before myself

My brother... statistically, women attempt self-deletion more than men, whereas men finalize it more because of their more violent methods. One perspective is women cry for help, and men try to end their pain.

Yeaaaah.. .women post a video online trying to just get attention. Men go and suicide because that's how they feel. Women will do anything for attention. Always someone trying to bull shit and try to flip the conversation to women. Are u a woman or just a beta? Men over 4 TIMES HIGHER suicide rates. It's not even close.

The other reason why suicide among men is more prevalent than suicide among women is that men on average are more capable of violent action than women. There are women who attempt to commit suicide more than men it's just that they fail at following through. Men however if they decide that they are done with this world they are going to do the means that they know will take them out and leave no possibility of survival. Men are willing to eat a bullet when they reach that low in their lives.
