Classic and Retail are about gaining loot. Classic is slower paced more focused on group play through the leveling experience with end game doing raids with 40 people. Retail is faster paced leveling experienced where you can join the looking for group tool if you want to do dungeons starting at 10. The end game in retail is about doing a bunch of mythic plus ( dungeons that you build a group for and run through as fast as you can to advance your key level ) or 10 to 30 man raids. Retail has a lot more solo content that you can do outside mythic plus and raiding just not for gear also.

That Wizard's Vault that pops up daily, check the second vertical tab. There you can spend those points - and since you have 400+, buy an Ascended weapon crate, get yourself an OP Shortbow _but choose Grieving(IF you have Path of Fire expansion, it not: Vipers) stat from the selection_ ( I gave you Marauder for armor, but your shortbow should be with a bit more Condi damage). Ascended are a class above Exotic. Ascended can only be crafted or obtained for special points like these in other game modes, it is 5% stronger than exotic and has extra slot used for high level Fractals dungeon mode. I still think you should have done the living worlds before this. You're doing great but I feel like spending more time in the core game would have made you better at non-combat mechanics, cause there's quite alot of them to learn. Instead, make sure to watch any popular "tricks and tips/things I wish I knew" video. And be aware that progress in the Heart of Thorns expansion is gonna be locked hard behind specific Masteries. You'll be here awhile training them to proceed🤣

There's too much in-between story in living worlds s1 and 2, many of these folks are from those. Rytlock was lost in the Mists and returns as a Revenant here, he wasn't with the Fleet at all

You're alright for a fresh player. Revenant is about managing energy, it fills up when you deal damage and F2 is a small reserve boost - but pay attention. Skill 8 on green legend and spinning hammers 7 from blue are a toggle. You have to turn them off from time to time because they drain energy constantly. Other than advising you to try to always enter fight or get close to next target with sword 5, I'd say you should use sword 3 more than 4, and 4 only to root/hold them in place. Dwarf and Assassin Legends are completely different, so are their heals. Green 6 heals when you attack, blue 6 heals more instantly. You can also try Mallyx the Demon Legend, his ult turns you into walking chaos storm (but is also a toggle that drains energy until turned off). Assassin/Dwarf/Centaur/Demon - damage/tank/support/damage You're doing good, it's just down to practice. There's no way around that, it simply takes time to be fluid in combat, you'll get there

BTW, I've just stumbled across your videos and started watching from the beginning, so you probably have already learnt lot of the these tips I'm about to share. One important thing is, this game has tons of QOL's. that are super helpful to players. In your inventory, there are several icons top right corner. First one and the most important one, allows you to deposit materials directly to your material storage in your bank, which you can visit in any major cities or at any crafting station. So always check all the tabs in the UI to see what they do. Another important thing is to always have the correct lvl gathering tools, Each higher lvl zone has different lvl materials to gather and if your tools are too low lvl, they'll only end up ruining your materials gathered. Easy way to overcome this is always buy highest lvl tools you can use. You can also buy from gem store a permanent gathering tools that can be used on any nodes at any lvl and are account bound. These items are priceless, because even if you don't want to do crafting you can always make a lot of gold selling them on the in-game Auction House. Another super useful tool from gem store is the permanent salvage kit, which can salvage any materials of any lvls and never runs out and it's also account bound. If you are able to get at least 4 shared inventory slots, you place these items in those slots and they become accessible to all your characters. Of course, as long as you remember to unequip the gathering tools before switching characters. With permanent salvage kit you never have to remove it. These the most important items to get from Gem Store if you ever decide to buy something. Same goes for salvaging kits, you can salvage any unwanted gear, that's not soulbound and convert them into materials then deposit them into your bank. Makes it easier to manage your inventory while out questing. Also you can craft or buy from Auction House larger bags, you will need them as you progress in the game. Ugh, sorry about the wall of text, but I love helping out new players in any way I can. Enjoy them and believe me, you've seen nothing yet. This game is amazing and I've been playing since head start and still playing today on 2 accounts

LoL, now you got the height right but the sides are cropped, is gone opposite to before, it must be in your recorder that needs adjusting to a normal screen or something.

Audio is fixed partly, you got the game sounds on but waaay too loud, can't hear you over it, especially the combat sounds OMG lol (: Also, you are still in cinematic mode which halves the screen height, it looks weird.

Why is this video in a cinematic format and it won't let me change it? Also, why is the game completely muted? GW2 has beautiful in-game music and everything is voiced, but I can't hear a thing and can barely hear you too. I know you're new and I often see people rush to play and don't look at their game settings and options. If you want more views you'll need to fix this fast!

You right, he is like that deep sea fish just without glowing thing on its head. But quaggans are more like a pufferfish, they change form when they get mad. It's just that they're ashamed of it so they forcefully try to be nicest possible. You're still a young player, it will take some time till you truly start understanding the flow of combat, abilities and combinations at play. Don't worry about that or the drip now, the endgame in Guildwars is mastery and wardrobe style, not gear progression. Mastery of your character and abilities, because any class can be played in many different ways. For now check your "Ultimate" skill, number zero, last one on the skill bar. You're mostly using legendary assassin stance so his ultimate is Jade winds, that freezes all enemies around you for a few seconds. Try letting several mobs attack you and cast 0, you'll see. All in all - when surrounded, use ult. When you wanna be surrounded, use ult. If you don't have energy, pressing F2 will boost it a little. Revenants are a relatively hard class to play.

Quest markers. There is two of those green markers, one is the game trying to calculate the route and the other is actual quest location. Lion's Arch is a main hub city, with portals leading to all other cities for each of the 5 races. Game will offer a route through that portal gateway because that's what you've explored.. but it is far from being a fastest route and makes people confused more than it helps. So it is better to zoom out worldmap and find the actual quest location, and either waypoint nearest to it or figure out how you can best get there on your own, looking at the map-to-map transition points from the maps that you already been to.
