At around 8:24 you are also confidently willing to claim that Tarrio's 22 year sentence is "crazy" given that he was "not involved" and "not in DC on Jan 6". You then invite us to explain to you why you're wrong. Why is that our job?! You made the big claim, you should know the detail!

At the end of this video you ask for more charity from people like me, to not be "autistic" about it and to have more grace when you say things that are technically untrue but might be true in spirit. On matters of relatively little consequence, i might agree with you. Say the debate was about taxes and you accidentally misremembered Canada's tax rate or something. Fine, not a big deal. But the thing is, the subject in question is of a) *major* consequence, and your claim was b) *incendiary*. On matters like that, it is absolutely irresponsible to make such false claims, because the consequences are massive. For a), we are literally talking about a violent attack which interrupted the democratic peaceful transfer of power. This is a huge deal, and it is extremely dangerous to accidentally make false claims which defend those people or diminish the significance of what they tried to do. And for b) the 'spirit' of your claim is an allegation that the Federal government illegally detained US citizens, for years. If that are true, it would truly be a massive scandal. It's therefore a highly incendiary claim, of massive consequence, which is why you & i should both be 'autistic' in our pursuit of precision and accuracy with such claims.

6:30 you start asking where you heard the claim that J6ers are being held without charge or trial. You heard it from Tim Pool in his episode with Luke Beasley. Tim ranted and grandstanded about Luke not knowing the facts, and then claimed that someone was being held in Brooklyn for 3 years without charge or trial. Tim never named who he was talking about. Tim was wrong. No such person exists or existed. Conservative media lie, confidently, and they get rewarded for it.

I like how what happened here is: you made a highly incendiary claim, I pointed out that it's not true, you own up to it by then still somehow manage to twist as if I'm the one being unreasonable because you feel like the "spirit" of your false claim is still true. No! Be responsible with your platform! Pursue truth! Don't confidently make claims that you can't defend! It's insane how the right has become utterly postmodern.
