This actress playing Lily appeared in the basket case horror sequel. While Alice who played angel also did a stint on loving though I never saw her work on that show only on ATWT. I’m assuming Doug Maryland hired her for world turns since he was once one of the writers from loving. And she had previously worked on that show. It’s just to bad that Doug couldn’t work the same exact magic on loving as he did here at world turns loving should still be on the air today both shows including GL and AW amongst others should still be breathing today. It’s 2025 now and the bold and the silly will still repeat the same thing over and over and over again with the whole Brooke ridge and Taylor back and forth thing. So sad that both GL and ATWT got sacrificed by cbs for a group of writers who have clearly run out of ideas.

I always thought Frannie and Larry would get married but she quickly got involved with Darryl Crawford and became the mother of the baby Dana was carrying for Darryl and Caroline..im assuming Darryl was also the sperm donor..

Kim was so beautiful and she and Bob made the perfect couple...Its hard to believe they didn't get together earlier although I know they were once involved...

I wasn’t a huge Courtney fan, but I do think her eating disorder storyline was well done.

Someone would have said to her "Do you know what a Dizzy B@tch you are!, did you send your brain on vacation, never do anything with a security box with someone around you, they can't be trusted!"

Another funny thing that we don't see on UK Soaps is seeing folks washing the Dishes, they are always on a Dishrack but not being put away. I sometimes wonder if this Storyline was the inspiration for The McKade Brothers by Nora Roberts. Although they were Farmers you didn't see them actually work. If you sent The snyders to Emmerdale to work on the Sugden Farm, in the UK, they'd go nuts.

Don't you notice that more action took place in the Kitchen with the Snyder Family. In the Uk Soaps were originally known as Kitchen Sink Drama because most of the action took place in The Kitchen. It was like that with The Hughes Family in the 1960's. The young lady coming downstairs has a eerie vibe to it, it's like the old school back cover of Flowers In The Attic, also the Door had a similar look on Guiding Light with The Reardons Boarding House.

Karina Arroyave as Bianca! How I wished she was there for Holden and Lily’s wedding, later that Fall, and when Damien, Holden, and Lily escape and are rescued from Hans. Instead of Chris Langner temporarily replacing Karina.

Thanks for this missing link. It seems to be catfight day in Oakdale, with Kim vs. Susan and Barbara vs. Shannon. It’s lovely that Kim advised Sabrina to drive on the right side of the street. Susan’s hold over married men is already taking shape. The foreshadowing of Seth’s folly with the Hughes sisters is subtle.

Thank you again for getting more of these Marland-era treasures available. 1991 is an interesting bridge as it steadily builds up the much darker elements that would be present in his final year and a half as headwriter.

Thanks! What a wonderful treat as some parts of this period are so difficult to find. ATWT was definitely on a full head of steam around 86-87. I love that Susan and Kim spat. Susan saying she did a lot of things wrong but never slept with her sister's husband. Kim's utterly perfect reply: "Only because you didn't have a sister."

Thanks. This was such a strong storyline, one that hooked me at the time. I appreciate seeing more of the aftermath and a reminder of some of Marland's best work. I love how Lucinda was written in this story - hurt, betrayed, but not cartoonish. She knew she had gotten reckless and had to take a step back, but in the end still wasn't going to let them keep her down. So many layers. Liz Hubbard was one of a kind.

If I'm not mistaken Lucinda eventually became inspired to start a new corporation "Worldwide Enterprises" ...

I think part of the reason I never bought this Lily recast was Heather played Lily like a 20 year old ingenue when she looked a lot older. I think Rattay was 28 around this time. They should’ve celebrated a birthday without a specific number- but they kept harping on her being 21. 🙄
