This is really good
Dutch Schooner Wylde Swan from the Netherlands has sailed all around the world including Scotland and also to the Isle of Skye and was in Portree and Loch Dunvegan which my father Cailean Maclean and his brother Robbie Cara Maclean were all onboard the Schooner when they went to St Kilda as the Muirs Rob and Nanette muir were also onboard her at a different time which I wrote this music for Dad's celebration going to the Island of St Kilda off North Uist as the Schooner also called into the Shiant Islands in the Sound of Harris as she has got around the place and hopefully will return to the UK at some point in the near future and the video was shot and pics were by dad Cailean MacLean .
The fiddly diddly music is a bit much I though it was a documentary.even as a proud Scot it’s put of shortbread n haggis for the foreseeable future
Next time: hold the camera still. add some commentary. dump ths incessant bagpipes.
I hope Billy dosen't see this
This could have been so very much better. Constructive criticism I hope. A nice pipe introduction would have been lovely. After the intro a running commentary would have been marvellous. Oh, and a little better camera work would have made it more watchable. Thanks for your efforts though, we need more of this kind of film, showing us what we have lost.
Nice Scots tunies!! Nice pics of old places i was in the 60's.
All that money spent on the stupid ass rail project that no one will probably use and the problems its having larges tracks small tracks still gotta make the train 11+ years... When they couldve done somthing about this historical landmark in hawaii and move it to where it should be fckn idiots run the country and the island🙄😤😡
Hello Tascal ,I first heard your show while I was visiting Skye Uig.I listen to you a lot now and it really cheers me up thanks for a wonderful show respect and Lang may ya lumb reek Bonnie lad
Where the f**k are we? Where are are we going? Pointless video.
Shockingly poor camerawork , random wobbly shots from moving car with absolutely no references as to locations , dreadful road and wind noise rumbling under monotonous bagpipe music . Truly awful ; my 12 year old son could, and does , do better .
No doubts at all that it will be a full through route soon. Plenty to do though and new bridges, compulsory purchase of several buildings and land, will see this iconic line back on the map. I'm looking forward to the Kielder-Chirk log trains the most. Getting the dangerous polluting lorries off local roads and onto the new railway is what its about, and the through passenger services to. Will be an invaluable route when reopened and pave the way to many more reopenings throughout the UK in future.
I'm Scottish but can only take so much bagpipe music. Had to switch off.
This is very poor . I gave up.
Very poor ? it isn't even that good
That music would drive you insane.
Now you know why they played it going into battle..
Caption should have said: I love bagpipes, with trains
Nice video I would have loved to hear commentary on the locations I would definitely like to see some these lines open again even half scale electronic shuttles/trams 🏴🌎
Dreadful piping could not watch.
Thanks Tascal for telling me about PIPING UP. I enjoyed listening to this programme today. ( Graham 22 May 2020)
what a complete waste of time with no description of what and where
The bagpipes were intolerable. Couldn’t watch it. Shame.
Turn the volume of and put on captions
@@Saint_Dan132 Captions to what?

And yet I was thinking that Donnie Munro was the best Gaelic singer.... sorry Donnie but this is awesome!
Wonderful- thanks for this. It might be very brief and a tad bit rough but it gives a very nice view.
I would like the new school open up again.
Will it open again butterstone school
