I do things, occasionally.
While I am not perfect by any means, I have taken up music composition, photography, and voice acting (in some regard) up as hobbies. I upload videos, of usually music, when I want to, as I do not rush creativity. I used to go by many names, one of which being Some90sSlasher, but you can just call me Ian.

Yeah, I know I basically used someone else’s video and just painted over, but frankly it just fit perfectly well. What can you do, you know?

I fought my IPad in a fistfight to get the updated video of the last time I did this back in April to work, needless to say, I came out on top, you’re welcome. All music in this video is, I think, composed by Michel F. April and owned by Behaviour Interactive, all I did was just merge the music together in chronological order with cute little animations. I, once more, don’t know why I spent my ...

Sacrifices We Make (Thunderhead Lobby Theme) - GoogleBlocs
มุมมอง 834 หลายเดือนก่อน
This would be the third attempt at making a lobby theme for a fan made DBD, the Thunderhead. You would probably notice some similarities between this theme and Singularity’s, that is intentional. For the Thunderhead, there were two ideas that would embody the killer that was essentially a god that looked like a thundering cloud in the sky. One idea was that the Thunderhead was the entirety of t...

Man I can't believe Belfry Birds would make something peak like that. I wish they were real
I know right? If only such thing as a Belfry Bird existed… like… a music collaboration between two people… wouldn’t that be something?
We've come so far with updated themes for og killers and damn does every variation have a unique tone to it yet keeping the same melody

Love the drones and the piano buildup. Just in general you trying out new things like adding in vocals as a first is pretty cool in itself; therefore, keep innovating bro

Whole thing's neat and high quality overall. Found myself to be enjoying pretty much all parts of this, they're blending in real nice too. Good job man, you certainly "shot for the moon" with making this track
This track in itself I think represents the past time quite elegantly. There's been a lot of uncertainty in the air and yet everything still comes at you at full force. Also I found the drop down of the image in the first seconds kinda amusing, like as if it's an advertisement heh. Anyhow, I think the synth starting at 3:35 could've been toned down a little, but it's nothing major, you did good man. The description checks out too
The Hillbilly's theme is what I imagine a Breaking Bad dbd chapter to sound like
Might sound off, but this reminds me of Little Inferno's main title track, but with a sorrowful and almost, I suppose, frightened note? I guess it can also be seen like the title and description suggests: You're at peace with what you do and being at the harbor is being at home. Reminiscing about your work out in the seemingly endless seas, as the skies light ablaze in a beautiful, warming orange; having that fresh breeze of air brush against your skin...What a neat idea, good job on it
I'll be honest, I was already composing basically this, but I had a hard time actually making it sound good for what it's supposed to be about...So, this is good! Unnerving, but not just straight noise you can't listen to. Favorite part has to be around the 3 minute mark
The killer themes are better, in my opinion, because they bring out the killers' appearance and styles.
He came back, and he came back with a bang. First off I gotta admire the powerful bass and the reverb to it, simply stunning. Secondly, the first few seconds immediately reminded me of some segment from Ultrakill, then again, this track is called "Fallen Archangels" and the description about perfectly captures some key points of that darn game. Thirdly, the drop at 1:01 goes HAM and I also like the little melody starting at 2:02. All in all, it's good to have you back chief!
Killer theme sounds closer to heavy metal guitar, like the metal weapons they use such as machetes, hacksaws, and chainsaws. Survivor theme is more acoustic, like their screams filling the void.
Man that mule sure has one epic life. Love the e-guitar solo sequence starting at 0:52 and returning throughout the track. The bridge segments from 1:10-2:02 and 2:20-3:20 are well-done too. Overall, it's a great piece and a cool new music style you tried out here!
Thanks, I appreciate it, though i have to ask was there any highlights or potential problem moments that stood out to you? Apologies for the late reply, it’s been hard to just sit down anymore.
@@TheStickiestNotes The highlights would probably be the solo sequence at 0:52. Then the bridge segment afterwards with 1:27-1:44 standing out with those nice low strings in the background. The bridge/buildup starting at 2:20 was also good. So, overall I don't have anything to critique, except that the volume of the drums could be upped lightly, OR the volume of the e-guitar could be lowered lightly, since it does sound like one of the two's too low/high for the other instrument. It's honestly not that noticeable though and pretty minor. Other than that it's a clean track you cooked up there that I could see myself listening to at some other times
Oh yep, that's awesome, I do agree that it's pretty much superior. I don't think I have anything to critique about it really. The whole thing's neat. I also absolutely adore the sharp metal-like sounds in the combat part, and the violin (I think?) is a great addition as well. This gets a "hell yeah" from me partner
A nice mix of various instruments to say the least. The drums were also sweet throughout (pun intended) The lead trombone (I think?) tied the whole thing neatly together as well. Overall, not something I'd listen to usually, but an enjoyable break from it regardless
Any problem areas or highlights?
@@TheStickiestNotes Sorry for the belated reply: I like the part starting at 0:22, but it caught me slightly off-guard when it ended at 0:52, which isn't a problem inherently. The follow-up part's also quite nice with the addition at 1:22 too. Everything that follows after that is also done well and stays true for what you wanted the piece to be. So yeah, no major flaw for me to point out, you did good. Also slightly belated congratulations on your birthday brother! I really wish for you to find something meaningful to cling onto and to feel like you do belong somewhere, because you do. Most importantly, stay in good spirits and take care of yourself in those incredibly irritable times. You're a great guy, you got this. I'll hope we'll be able to do what we've been able to do back then in the near future, too.
@@duxflavo, thanks man, appreciate it, especially during the shit storm lmao
I dig it. My favorite part would have to be the combat + post-combat, it works well with the level/stage you had in mind. I also really liked the introduction, wish it went on for a little longer, though. It has this distinct vibe with the growling basses and drones along with the sharp synth that something really screwed up is awaiting you. Good job!
Cool musik 🤝
Hello, you are one of the random small youtubers that get snuck into my recommended sometimes. Let me just say I adored the vibe of this track, felt like walking through an environment that has been abandoned for all the wrong reasons. It sounds vaguely... industrial? In a good way. Sounds great for a writing session, or even in a game level that's like a narrative dump through an important area that looks threatening the whole way.
Thank you for deciding to visit and share your thoughts, genuinely, I appreciate it in times like these. While I don’t owe any explanation for the reason behind the track, I find the the second half of your comment interesting, and it feels like an answer should be given as due. In all honesty, I always had this idea for a video game that stemmed from back when I studied about the relationship between Italy and Ethiopia for a narrative piece and I really never let it go. It was going to be a mix between Darkwood and Amnesia: The Bunker, if you know what those games are, but, unfortunately, I ultimately lack the prowess and patience to create a video game myself. I continue to think about said idea however, even today, and this is primarily how this track came together. I hope that clears up some questions. Thanks again.
