Test of higher temporal resolution VIIRS data for Bathy Lidar Retrievability.
Elevation Source: ETOPO2022 (15 arcsec resolution)
Imagery: VIIRS20 kd490 (4km resolution)
Section 1:
Classified retrievability based on lidar system performance. e.g., "Visible with 2 Secchi Depth" requires a lidar system with the ability to penetrate to 2 secchi depths, "Visible with 1 Secchi Depth" only requires the lidar system to penetrate to 1 secchi.
Section 2:
"Raw" Secchi depth rasters from the VIIRS kd532 values. To show spatial

My las does not have the display range of 1 & 2 when setting the scalar fields to Classification. It only has a 1??? When I imported I had classification checked what is happening?

Thank you, How did you register the two clouds together in this case? specially you have very limited number of points from total station around 800 ?? probably the auto registration won't work very well ?
So pointsource id is a number that starts from 1 (or 0?) and gets +1 every time the lidar does a sweep?

Not getting PCD files to open - how come?
I installed CC (stable release: 2.12.4 Kyiv (7/14/2022)) on Fedora 38 and it opens .pcd files.
Super cool and bananas at the same time. This Gorge will be the start of a huge shift in how we think these sorts of features are made. Slow and steady, nope try 6 days.

Hey, please how to solve the slope problem when the points appear higher than they really are.
Not sure if you still do this since the video is two years old. All of my las lidar files are miles long. We are a mobile mapping company. We have LAS and 360° Video for whole roads. When I bring it into cloud compare even with suggestion I get a straight line that I can not seem to zoom far enough into to see the data.

Hi, I have a .obj file with its .mtl file but I don't know how to drag both into CC in a way that the model get colorized. Have you any idea about how can I do that?
