Dealing with abandonment...this is so Sad...it catch up with later on. Sis Mandisa never dealt with her childhood trauma and hence she did everything for the husband just to be close at all times.

It is the second time I listen to her story. I also first heard her on Skeem GP. She is truly a brilliant storyteller and a beautiful human being despite her crimes. The most important thing is that she is remorseful and has taken full accountability for her actions. It is tragic that women are particularly very vulnerable in that in their case, the price they pay is much higher and the consequences more profound. How many men who have committed similar crimes and perhaps even caused more damage but never confessed or even cared to take accountability for their crimes? Let us be grateful for her honesty. At least we are learning valuable lessons as a country, never again to be caught fast asleep as we were for so many years by these criminal syndicates. If anything, and in spite of our righteous anger, let us never forget to learn the lessons. For the sake of our country and future generations.
