i don’t think the gorosei have devil fruits themselves. i think they are the mythical beasts that would be manifested into devil fruits but they never died in the first place. like the sun god nika, buddha, or other mythical zoans. if you look at the gorosei introduction panels, there is no devil fruit name under their names and theyre obviously min some type of form. they’re the only ones to be like that in the whole series.

It's dumb. The art style of the latest Puss in Boots could've been used as inspiration. They shouldn't gone for a big-budget fully animated movie with a special semi-realistic but animated look. They can do just about anything with AI these days. No actor is going to capture Luffy, he's a cartoon character through and through.

I agree with that it looks weird but the thing with one piece is that it’s the hardest anime to make live action just bc of how goofy and obsurd it can be. The thing you have to understand tho, is live action does not mean realistic. People just assume that. So you can’t look at it as it’s going to be realistic, bc that’ll only make you dislike it more. You have to think about it as one piece but with a more reality based approach. And it could either blend well or it could look like total shit. But truthfully we just gotta be optimistic until it comes out and go from there. But I don’t think we should tear it to shreds after just one small trailer.
