His family need to stick to roll on deodorants
went to his show this year and was first in line, booked it to the merch table and was happy to find a signed japanese vinyl import for sale, picked it up immediately along with a couple cds, and books, all signed. was super happy to have something signed by mark. the show was amazing as well
@@dougbowser50 never met him but it’s crazy you commented on this today. been listening to Carry Me Ohio all day, haven’t listen to SKM in a while. glad you enjoyed the show, bro
this dude will never be number 1 on hostage
Qualcosa che ricorda Nick Drake?
Not really. No. Sun Kil Moon is an American band. The songs are very much based on the experiences of every-day American people.
Chi è qui grazie a Silvestrin? Silverstream?

what a beautiful album. too bad mark is a piece of shit.
he is a human and made some mistakes
@@bluecloud6437calling repeated sexual misconduct a "mistake" is definitely a choice
This album is beautiful
HAPPY BIRTHDAY O DAJJAL
This project is so real and raw. I loved this album for the 1st time when I was a kid in 2015 but nothing changed since. Deserved classic.
this is an album for 35, 40+ years olds, at least. its a self-wailing of an old man, ready to embrace his own death. you cant understand sh1t.
@@fuphanwang9134 I can understand a lot of shit my man. Not yet 40 but old enough to comprehend his message. Not fully but it reveals with time. Don't put everyone in the same bag.
Same. I was in my senior year of high school. Loved it then and still do.
You were meant to hear it when you did. I'm JUST hearing this for the first time. I'm in love
And I'm 45
Fuck em up Mark
Really weird listening to this knowing how much of a dick Mark is
This Album is the music equivalent to the movie „No country for old Men " for me.
So this the legendary Ohio I've heard of.
"Richard Ramirez Died Today of Natural Causes" is a masterpiece
ghosts of the great highway
Can't believe it took me until NOW to check out this album...I just finished listening to Carissa for the first time and I'm feeling so much right now.
god i love this album. fuck you mark, you make me feel bad for liking it
Dump truck
This is the album Pitchfork told me to like.
you ain’t been on Pitchfork in a while then
@@lordluckylucan your profile picture is terrifying.
@@sanfordcurtis8242 and urs boring as shit.
It's interesting to hear a song you wrote 10yrs prior and still feel good about it. Thank you. The guitarist for Tyko.
this whole album rips. i forget how i found out about you guys. I’m from Newport, Arkansas tho. or grew up there anyway. i’d love to know what a lot of the lyrics for this are. wakethenuns@gmail.com if you ever wanna chat about Tyko, i’d be hella interested.

Revisiting
Beautiful and sad. Check out "Drug Song" by Dave Bixby.
i did. gotta say, it’s dog shit.
Who else is here because of Cult Leader?
keep coming back to this

raise your filthy hand if you are still here in 2021, flying this flawed and fucked-up flag
To me, it sounds like a series of memoirs put to music; the quiet songs of the everyman. Very hipsterish, for sure, but genuine.
He's a very skilled song writer. Skilled enough that potentially none of it could be genuine.
This album makes me want to buy an 80s Ford Truck
마크코즐렉 나쁜놈...
This album is the musical equivalent of a funeral. A funeral is undeniably sad, but it's also sentimental, awkward, and in many cases, strangely funny. You remember someone who has passed, but also know that they lived. I really don't enjoy listening to A Crow Looked At Me (despite how awe-inspiring the writing is on it) because of how completely bleak and raw it it is, but I always love listening to this. Even when it makes me cry there's something so endearing about it.
" Ever wondered how Dylan would had ended up sounding had he remained addicted to Heroin till the 80s/90s ? " . ( * 1st thing on my mind as I listen to " Carissa " for the 1st time ... might as well ... )
All else notwithstanding, this thing's still a masterpiece
all what aside? don’t be a baby

I know mark turned out to be a creep and I certainly won’t be giving him my money again but it doesn’t change that fact that this is one of the most beautiful albums of all time.
haha
no more of your money on his dating hotel room meetings
I guess i am asshole but listening to Mark more than ever these weeks anyway take account that lot of people died to make this album possible
Right up there with Nick Drake in my eyes. Brilliant folk musician.
I love this album but god Mark why did you have to be such a fucking asshole to your female fans I hate feminism but there’s a line and he crossed it
Are there any other Analog Rebellion fans these days?
we're still here
Thanks for everything, Mark. Though you're being asshole sometimes, I'm still grateful
Touché Amore sent me here. Love it.
This album, never gets old
My friend xaver posted this 6 years ago and cost mark kozalek 1 million album sales. But xaver is my friend and i know he gets it.
Sweet reference
Imagine all the people who are just sitting at home listening to music thinking about how alone they are
i think you mean to say lonely. you can be alone and not feel lonely. you never watched Heat?
Thank you. I am truly humbled.
Genuinely one of the greatest albums ever written
Old computer, New school shooter; I'm just like you, Hope I end up like you. You've been planning; Scheming, scanning. It will happen soon; Feels long overdue. Maps of hallways, High school clichés. You want to let them know; You feel so hollow. I would like to rearrange your Glass that's counting sand; Dry and damaged hand. Organize your fatal counter. All the hate you've absorbed; The things you've shut your mouth for. The things you've shut your mouth for. Just a minute, It's tough to get it. Drawn and underscored, Your life has been ignored. Mother's valium, Father's shotgun. Sun might burn you, The rays might scar you; But I'd argue, today is beautiful. Desperate letters; Life feels better. In the summer air, I will meet you there. I will meet you there. You've been planning; Scheming, scanning. It will happen soon; Feels long overdue. Maps of hallways, High school clichés. You want to let them know; You feel so hollow.
Put this on while making breakfast and there I was, scrambling eggs with tears in my eyes, thinking what's it gonna be like when my cat passes on. Fuck.
I came here because of a Touche Amore lyric.
