    Other car brands you often see in Japan (Ordered based on my personal experience): Volvo = ボルボ FIAT = フィアット Renault = ルノー Peugeot = プジョー Alfa Romeo = アルファロメオ Hyundai = ヒュンダイ(ヒョンデ) [ Special Mention ] TESLA = テスラ Actually, TESLA is rarely seen in Japan at this moment.

    Why is を used in "プレゼントをありがとう。"? It's the only one I don't understand.

    • @JapanesePracticeQuest
      @JapanesePracticeQuest หลายเดือนก่อน

      The use of "を" (wo) in "プレゼントをありがとう" is because of an omitted verb. The full expression would be something like "プレゼントをくれて/くださってありがとう" (Thank you for giving me the present). This kind of usage often occurs in Japanese. For example : 手紙を(くれて)ありがとう。 Thank you for the letter. サポートを(してくれて)ありがとう。 Thank you for the support. Hope this helps! ☺

      @@Koenji-kx7vz I've heard that many Japanese videos (not language learning videos, but other general videos we create or watch) tend to have louder background music. Since this is a language learning video, I realize I should be even more mindful of this. I’ll make some adjustments. Thank you again for bringing this to my attention🙏☺

      Oh, is there a specific story with a scene like this? I created this thumbnail imagining the boy in the background saying either 'すきかな' or 'つきかな?' The girl in front is wearing headphones, so she can't hear what the boy is saying. Maybe he's confessing his feelings. That's the situation I envisioned. I wasn't thinking of any particular work when I created it. 😊

    Just wanted to thank you. I've been using videos in TH-cam to study Japanese for about 3 years and I have to say this is a type of video that is rarely represented. There are pitch accent lessons, but really very few that focus on articulation. Most that focus on articulation gets a bit too technical / theoretical or the exercise tend to be a bit too advanced to simply jump into immediately. Starting in a simpler way (like in these videos) is a great help. I hope you continue to make more of these videos.
