In this video I show you a quick look at the Vevor 3L ultrasonic cleaner for $149.
It actually works pretty good and I would recommend it for all of the DIY'ers and hobby mechanics.

      It sits pretty tight so I would suggest that you brake it loose while the fork is still in the clamp on the bike and then screw it out like in the video.

    I thought it can't withstand high pressure because the solenoid valve core suffers the air pressure which force > spring in high Press.

    There's a screen in the bottom of the frame's oil tank where the oil line goes in below the front drain plug, this screen will catch any impurities that might get in through the oil or dipstick oil cap, you have to remove the skid plate from beneath the frame and undo the oil line below the front drain plug and then using a 27mm socket remove the screen from the bottom of the frame's downtube I always check and clean it but it's probably not as important as checking and cleaning the screen in the sump plate under the engine the sump plug screws into, the sump plate is held in place by six Allen head screws and you'll also have to remove the skid plate under the frame to get to the sump plate, the screen in the sump plate is where you will find any metal shavings or shrapnel from inside the engine and gearbox There is also a bleed screw at the top of the oil filter cover that is used to bleed the air from the oil filter, it's tricky because you have to loosen it very carefully while the engine is running and just enough for the air to pass the screw without removing it, have a drain tray under it and try to leave it in by a thread or two but as I said it is tricky and don't forget to tighten it after If you inadvertently remove the bleed screw you could get oil all over your ceiling so have a piece of rag handy to put over it and be ready to hit the kill switch to stop the engine if it happens 🤗

I know that it appears shorter than working fork part but it stretches so one can use a pair of clamps up and down. At least this is how I would like to do it next week(s). I also bought heat shrink tube ~35 mm in diameter to cover upper part of fork (between triple clamps). Cheers.

    Hi what pressure rating is the QEV you used? Looking at paintball tanks specs they seem to be around 3000PSI which is 200 Bar but the output is around 600-800 PSI, do I buy one rated for the 3000PSI or the 800 output PSI?

    • @ScuffedMechanic
      @ScuffedMechanic ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m not really sure what the pressure rating is but if you are going to use a paintball tank you should just get an extra pressure regulator because 600-800 psi is still going to be way to much.

    • @JtagSheep
      @JtagSheep ปีที่แล้ว

      Use a paintball tank with a regulator on the output and a regular remote line, inline burst disc is always a good option for extra safety. The rating of your QEV and valve gear should be rated higher than the psi you intend to use for safety margin. The QE-02 QEV can handle anywhere up to 120psi, anymore than that and its out of the working preasure. If you want to shoot airsoft bb's then 60-80 psi is way more than enough for some fun.

    • @ScuffedMechanic
      @ScuffedMechanic ปีที่แล้ว

    • @ScuffedMechanic

    I get the solenoud but why the qev

    • @ScuffedMechanic
      @ScuffedMechanic 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The QEV acts as a dump valve so it can release a lot of air in a short amount of time. The solenoid can’t handle as much pressure and isn’t as quick. The QEV always needs another valve to activate.

      @@ScuffedMechanic It's just a sound and you can always hear it in the pits, or when you push the fork sharply (like on my video). Could it be some part inside is worn out? A small sleeve or spring, for example. But I compared all the disassembled parts and did not notice anything different.
