How about set the ISO to auto to avoid the Aperture sign blinking?
Sure, you could do that too, but the aperture sign might still blink if your aperture is open to wide.
Video starts at 2:00
5:06 What a beauty
I have to say, you look well creepy walking around like that, and it's far better just to chat with people and be open with them about what you are doing.
🙄 dude. I talk with literally everyone around me and I dish out smiles and all kinds of non-verbal communication when conversation would spoil things. give me a break, please.
@@ViewfinderMastery sorry
@ponymoore6140 it's all good. 👍
Thank you for your work !
you're very welcome ♥️🙏
Danke!
hey, aber Danke dir Alexander! ♥️🙏
I’m looking to upgrade to the PG-01 and have been looking for an explanation of exactly what’s needed (slide, levelling base, etc). Your explanation is excellent. You’re 100% correct that without this or a similar device, you risk losing a shot if the software can’t stitch the images together.
yeah, it's hard to really appreciate until you've worked with the thing..Ive got a huge print in my living room, thats made from 200+ images, shot in Norway. there'd be no way on earth I could have pulled it off without the pano gimbal head. 📸
Thank you for this video. Pretty interesting great quality. What's your roundup after two years? would you still recommend this pack? greatings from Germany
Matt, do you still use the Atrack Backpack from Ortlieb?
hi Paul, I'm using it but mostly for canoe trips, rather than photography stuff. the search for the perfect backpack continues! 😅
That was cool buddy, thanks, rock on!
Thanks Max! ♥️
great job! What lents do you have?
thanks a lot! I used a 24-70mm & 70-200mm (from Nikon) 📸
(5:10) Two people side by side shooting a meat slicer, lol. Great future in weddings.
You lost me at Photoshop. Bye.
Well....like your video a lot, congratulation but I think you will profit of taking lessons of how to paddle in a canoe....loll Recall this: The J style paddle technique.,...
Oh lovely, more canoeing advice... 🙄
Sorry, I did not mean to offend. Have a nice day.
Beautiful images! 🍁
Brilliant hack. When I travel, the dish is not easy to bring. Umbrellas are... So off to the arts&crafts
Great! yes, totally! glad you liked it👍
Or boom a reflective umbrella.
Really helpful
Glad to hear that! 📸👍
Thanks for this video Les. I’m weighing up the options for later in life and this option is something I’ve been thinking about.
later in life? do it now! 🥳📸👍
That would would have smelled amazing
Like your use of text in the video🙏 Its very helphfull. Great vide👏
Glad it was helpful! 🙏
Nice video! Strange it hasent got more views… I like leading Lines, and reflections.
Yeah me too! cheers! 🙏
🤔 Ok: Only 1 picture of Lea was pretty good (framed scene), the Hasselblads are amazing... mmmhhh?
hey now, I think you may want to have another look. A few of Leah's images have won street photography contests. 📸👌
Hola amigos!!!
Thanks. Very informative! I was hoping you’d show how to remove the jet trail from the varying cloud formation.
Great suggestion!
Great idea on the bean bag!
I love it! We use it all the time!
21 mm is focal length for Medium Format. the equivalent angle of view in 24x36 is that of a 35 mm lens (approximately). Regarding the angle of view, 21mm in 24x36 is therefore not equivalent to 21 mm in Medium Format. The Zeiss Biogon lens mounted on the 903 seems to be a 38 mm. The equivalent angle of view in 24x36 is therefore approximately 24 mm A Medium Format film camera (just like any other format) photographs indifferently in black and white or in color. It is the film that you insert in the film back that determines whether you are in color or in B&W
thanks for your input. 👍
A very comprehensive and well-produced video that covers all the key aspects. I was intrigued by your comment about not liking combo spiked feet as the spikes were inadequate as you were screwing in what I would consider a completely inadequate spike. Neewer makes some very nice combo spikes of decent length that are on my big tripod full-time. Like you, I have a number of tripods, usually modified and set up for specific purposes. Well done.
Sent me down a rabbit hole looking up "Dutch angle" on Wikipedia. I had vaguely remembered that it was an ancient cinema technique for showing distress. I didn't realise Dutch was originally a synonym for German, and it was named after German expressionist cinema.
Hey, good information. Were did you purchase your bean bag?
I made it. 😉
That flexible arm holding your diffuser. Where to get it? Thx and a very nice and teachable video :)
please see comments from others
how do you it?
don't quite understand your question... 👀
What nikon do you have?
that's an old D4 📸
Hi everyone, I wanted to ask some owner of this backpack, if with its straps it can possibly reduce in volume in case you don't make big laps...
Very helpful video - thank you!
You're very welcome! 👍
By the way, I admired my *Sirui* _Ultra Light_ for its build quality, and swore I would never change the brand... until it almost destroyed my camera and lens. The center column broke in half seconds before I would mount the camera & lens on it. Oddly, it broke without any pressure or force being applied over it, I was spreading the legs at that moment. Hence note how true your conservative recommendation is! I've never had more than the G9, battery pack and a mft lens on it, that's definitely NEVER more than 2 kg, while the tripod is being rated at 4 or 5 kg. Yet it broke. Now this tripod remains permanently collapsed :))
wow, crazy! thanks for sharing your experience! 😳👍
This video is so useful, I'm surprised it hasn't got many more views. Your are an excellent educator and only for that quality I am subscribing! -After a short glance at all of your channel content, it's become more than obvious why! So see how didactic experience reflects even at the most "down-to-earth" gear topics like tripods. What you could add next time (if you feel like it or, are at home with) is a short reflection on the tripod market situation today. It is rapidly growing. I have now spent two or three days researching various tripods and although some guys cover a number of brands & products nicely, no one offers such a birds-eye insight. There you go, a tip for you to climb into an exclusive niche! ;) Seriously, it would help especially those of us who are at the other side of the ocean. I'm noticing that in Europe some brands are almost not present - like Gitzo, Ulanzi, Benro etc.
That's very kind feedback. Thanks very much for taking the time to comment so thoughtfully. actually, all of those brands are pretty easy to come by here in Switzerland, but I guess each market is a bit different. I'll take it into consideration. Thanks again! 👍🙏
@@ViewfinderMastery Sure, the Dutch market has been traditionally monopolistic
Do you use any composition rules for this type of photography or do you use different angles to get the best shot
Thank you for your macro tips. Being from Texas, I cringe at the sight of you lying on the ground. We have so many biting insects that it doesn’t take long to have bites all over. Bug spray is included in my kit!
Wont buy an Atrack or Ortleib again. The zips on the Atrack don't last, and once broken, the unit is ready for the bin. Also, tears in the fabric are hard to repair.
Thank you for the tips! useful and informative!
Glad it was helpful! 👍
Thank you so much for the helpful and informative tutorial and tips! God bless and keep creating!
thanks very much! you too!
Very good info. I didn't think of most of these considerations. Thanks!
Thanks for watching! glad it helped!
i liked your shoes also
😎👍
Is this some sort of parody for a comedy TV show? It made me laugh so it could well be ...
we'll take it as a compliment, thanks! 🤗
5:40 first plug is likely to be the R16 type Europe->ZA adaptor.
thanks 👍
Hi. Is the 500 rule based on ISO 2500? I’m shooting film the highest I can go is 1600.
Hi there. It's not based on ISO, but based on shutter speed.
Any updates on your experience with this pack? I've been researching it and it's at the top of my list.
What's the name of stick you use to hold the diffuser?thanks mal
The Hasselblad SWC (Super Wide Camera) 903 takes the standard Hasselblad Film back, so it shoots with whatever film you load, not just B&W.
Great video, but those likes notifications during the video were really annoying, and I'm not gonna click the like button.
thanks for your feedback!
