I tried to tease ya'll with a few shorts of this trip. Did it work? This place is like being on the moon! The terrain and landscape are like nothing else. The video is longer than what I usually edit, but there is just so much to see and I try to get good landscape shots as well. Enjoy my video of the Zuul crawling on the moon

It was an awesome day at the Log Bridges! This truck is an absolute MONSTER on the rocks!!! Just an amazingly fun and incredibly super capable rig. Said it before, if you have the chance, pick one up

This truck is so incredible!!! It impresses me more every time I take it out. Completely dominated the rock face that gave the 6x6 trouble and even found a new one. Still need more weight up front and down low. Tune in for the full edit

This truck is absolutely amazing. Already have done a few upgrades and it just keeps getting better. Going to do a little more testing and then a good review. Come back for that for sure!
First time off road for the Hauler!

This was too much fun. The hauler really performs better than i expected carrying a rig. Need to stiffen up the suspension a little, needs a Hobbywing 2300, rims and tires and maybe a little brass and it will be a pretty stout recovery/haul rig. Love this truck!!!

Any mods or are you running it stock? Did you swap the gears for the higher overdrive or stay with the lower ratio one?
I've done quite a few mods but haven't changed any gearing yet. Check out my review of the Zuul for a rundown of all the mods so far

Still all stock gearing. Nothing changed yet
Cool short video. So, just curious, are these Hotrods ideal for drag racing beside each other? And, if so, approximately how fast do they run out of the box? Any work on the revisions to the T-Rod body you mentioned you were going to be doing soon? Thank you for your time.
Thanks for the compliment! I feel they could be used to drag but with mods like tires especially. They're about 25-30 mph with the stock setup. I haven't gotten around to working on the other body yet. Right now is my busy season for work and I'm swamped. I will post as soon as I start the process. Thanks for your watching!

@@bigskyrcguy my slash has the stock bl2s system, I’m not new to the hobby by any means but I’m trying to keep it relatively stock to stay competitive with some buddies, I hate the response time on the traxxas esc’s lol
@@240brah completely agree on the response time. It just takes so much control away

@@bigskyrcguy They took a photo at 0:46, but you can't see how the TRX-6 got there.

I'm a traxxas trx 4 guy myself- the crawlers are the only rigs I seem to "cheat" on I live my traxxas's! Anyway point is I've been waiting for someone to say EXACTLY what ya said- I've been looking at these elements which are more my price range that new Redcat really has my eye as well I saw a video on TH-cam a little while ago talking about the Vanquish which is or was the one I really wanted to save up for however from what I'm understanding they're not all they're cracked up to be. Keep up the good work!

@@bigskyrcguy still some slop on the side with my tusk...had to put some light foam on the side to fill the gap.

Doing all those upgrades why didn’t you just buy the brushed version then? Outside of the motor/esc what else is different from the bl2s vs the brushed version.
I ask myself the same question. Hind sight is 20/20
@@bigskyrcguy I was honestly wondering if there was some other big difference that would have pulled you that direction that I wasn’t aware of. I kinda did the same thing and bought an RB10 which I’ll need to change a lot to run at the track out here.

Yo dude! The Ax24 seems like a decent look just looking at it and how twisty it is... well.. its not at all. Ive had mine for about 9months now and done so many things to try to make it decent at crawling and climbing. First thing I did was get brass wheels to keep the weight as wide and low as possible, then a 66t motor for extra power but it just kept rolling. Then I dropped where the top of the shocks mount and melted the back body mount thingy so it wouldnt hit the servo. Then after all that I chopped out the battery tray and dropped its guts by nearly an inch inside it to get better LCG. Got a Gens Ace Adventure 400mah 2s battery to drop it even more from that stock one. Tried a Furitek Stinger combo made just for the AX24 and it didnt work out at all, had rubbing issues and what not. Chopped the sliderails and got rid of the lights as the tires were always rubbing and getting stuck on that, trimmed the body as well. Then... Then.. I got the Kangraoo Chassis from Injora. Got a ton more parts for it and now the thing is a Kanga-Ax and its unreal what its become, best rig Ive even seen and ran. The climbs this thing can do now is truly insane. As of posting this there are only 3 stock parts left in the thing, the 2 axles and the receiver. Other then that Ive fliped out everything on it to get it to perform at the max. Anyways, goodluck with the upgrades and mods to make it kickazz!

I've got Knuckles up front so far and that's it. I'm going to try and keep most of it in the front end because the dual axle in the rear provides plenty

It is hard to gauge just how steep that climb is, but I can vouch it is very very steep.
I tried to keep the power pole in frame to give a little perspective
