Shepard, the dog, is a 11-year-old Miniature Pinscher/Terrier mix who was rescued from an unsavory household when he was 3. Aftermath of the Storm in the Park

On Nov. 19, 2024, we were hit by the bomb cyclone in the Pacific Northwest. This video recorded a little over a month after the storm shows some of the destruction that happened in one of Shepard's favorite walking locations. Due to the amount and size of the trees that taken out in the storm, cleanup has been slow in our area.

Join us for a hike at Flaming Geyser State Park. This trip was important to share how far I've come in my health journey. I'm not the one wearing the camera, but the other one in the video. I've always struggled with my weight and am close to losing 40 pounds. I'm also on a sobriety journey. These trips are important to mentally solidify who I am now and who I will become.
