You can keep them in a 140 for awhile but ultimately a 180, 240 is better. Small tanks require better filtration and more water changes. This I have is a 240 with 2 fx5 and an sump filtration

They are fake plastic plants, real plants don't fair well with geophagus

Ok I have a 125gal that’s 6ft. I have a few Australian rainbows, Colombian red blue tetras, couple roseline sharks. I’ve been looking at getting some geophagus and maybe a severum as a center piece fish. I really like the bank look on one end of the tank and those plants look good haha

@@shanemcgee7405 geophagus altifron would be my choice. I had them in this tank but jave loss all three. Oh geophagus tApajos are great too.

Those are on my list. I think definitely the topajos for sure. I hear they are easier to find. I like the juripari and pelgrini. I think if I don’t do a severum it will be because I was able to get a Balzani. I hear those are very difficult to find but I really like them.

Next year should be a better year, this year a wash for me in breeding and training young birds

Wow!! 120 young birds my plan was 60 but didnt get close at all.. hawks has been a real problem for me.

Funny you mentioned that. I added them a few days ago. I need to be more consistent. the Day before it was all grit. I'm just not focused this year with breeding.

Messing with the filter is tricky. You're in the city. You're water got some colorie? I clean my filters often with tank water. My water is well. So no bleach. You should clean your often. Also more often when you have more fishes

They all made it home, my Red and White did not trap. I've since rid most and only kept 4 of the 11 yb. I will be getting new stock ( breeders) Some of the youngbirds I had I was not confident with. but 2020' ybs are tossing way better than my 2019s.

Sonny Saechao cool, I usually love to get out and fish often and hikes etc, but these days with all the COVID stuff and kids programs, I have to put everybody else’s needs first. At least I get to enjoy flying and testing my pigeons from time to time for now.

I'm lucky to know a avarian? he has all sorts of Pheasants, Quails, and Peacocks. I get them for fair price. I no longer have the silver, I am moving towards quails, likely a pair of swinehoe to replace the silver.

@@Mrsonnysaechao I have an iphone 11 and all I use is the imovie app that came with the phone. It was easy to learn. I just watched a you tube vid about it! If you have android I'm sure there is something like it on there. I don't even use my comp. when editing!

I'm at the tail end of my fish hobby. I still have a 240 gallon community but likely wont add anymore new fishes. Here where I'm at we have power issues pgne shutting power off due to fire danger. :(

Sonny Saechao I’m at the tail end as well. I had around 20 tanks at one time. Now just got a single 125 with all my synodontis & several yellow labs I raised outside last summer. I’ll probably always keep at least 1 tank.
