My old b20 had bent valves when i bought it. It was sitting in a field for a year! Busted timing belt. Head is a 1.8 off an acura integra. Painting the plastics on my 2001 honda crv back to black today! Getting rid of all that old dingy color. Only one side is done so far but it makes a huge difference! Sorry for the bad quality at the end, i didnt realize the wind was that bad.

This is my 2001 honda crv lowered on yonaka coilovers with 17x9 30 rotiform lasr wheels. Tire size is a 215/45. The rear is currently rubbing which is why i installed the camber kit. When you see the end youll notice that my front upper control arm is also stuck in the wheel well causing the front tires to rub. If you get coilovers it is best to also get the truhart front upper control arms. IG...

The control arm got stuck cause you are pretty low. 4 years later I’m sure you know that now lol. I only dropped my car about an inch and a half so I should be okay unless I hit a bad pothole or speed bump fast

I did this install on a 1st gen CRV too and every time I’m driving with headlights on, AND the left blinker on, it triggers the camera to come on. Reverse works fine. But why is it coming on with the headlights + left blinker? I have the power wired directly to the reverse bulb. Anybody know???? I’m dying over here

@@briansyler5926 Good to know. I recently ordered some Drag DR77 and quality is crap. It has been replaced two times with two sets by DT and still see a lot of imperfections. I might switch it to the Konig but i was concern since this was a somewhat cheap rims like the Drag and i wasnt sure if it will have defects on it like the Drag rims.
I highly recommend these over drags. Also mst is a decent cheaper wheel.
@@briansyler5926 I got the DR77 over the oversteers because it had more coverage meaning it didnt show the brake pads and rotors. With these oversteer, it seems like you have to get some colored covers or upgraded calipers to make it stand out.. But unfortunately, the DR77 were not a good quality.
Glad I bought both currently got my upper control arm stuck there too lol

I wish you would have focused a little more on the actual wiring as opposed to how it's routed through the vehicle. That's going to differ with every vehicle out there. This unit comes with two wires and according to the instructions there's two different ways to hook it up. You really didn't explain which method you used and I'm still confused as hell. Lol

JuuCapalot Kickze is not a scam but it’s more of a buyer via seller than a buyer via thirdparty so the sellers will contact you directly about information instead of email confirmations and instant tracking numbers. Kickze is straight out of the factory to the independent seller and Kickzs is more like amazon or ebay but worse quality sneaker

What do you connect the red wire from the video cable to in the rear? I have the exact same setup but camera wont pop up in reverse

Did you pull the screw out thats behind the hook? I didnt see it on mine and busted it haha.
@@briansyler5926 oh I hadn't even thought about a screw being back there. That could be part of my issue. That part will have to wait for another day though unfortunately since I have to work tomorrow. But I did at least manage to change my radio out and run the backup cam wire from the radio to the "trunk" area (no idea what you actually call that area on these SUVs) Thanks for the tip. Hopefully when I try again I'll be able to get that tailgate trim off after removing the screws behind the hook. Then I'll have yo figure out popping that side trim back the to run the wire into the gate and run a power wire up to the reverse lights
Once you get that rear piece off its fairly easy to get run thru. We didnt even think one would be there either. But if you have anymore questions as you go on feel free to ask whenever man!

I dont believe on this camera you can, they just stay straight the whole time on it.

Probably not. The drop rate isnt near what it is for the coilovers so you should be fine. The coilovers compared to oem is probably a solid 3-4” difference when fully maxed out. Thats why they jam up.

how does the fact the camera is mounted so far off-center affect the visibility backing up? I have a camera coming in with a license plate mount but I'm thinking it would be better if it was in the middle of the car otherwise those grid lines may be misleading.
For me it was the easiest spot to mount it, plus its mostly just for things directly behind me. It shows close to my driver side, but not to my passanger. The lines are pretty accurate though.

Noo not really, but it also depends on camber, wheel size, and tire size as well.
This video was so helpful. I'm trying to slam my 02 crv and there are no videos out there. This one gave me a good idea of what I need to get.
Tristen Martin yonaka also makes coils for your year model as well. There are some fb groups for the 02-06 if youre not in them already. Those maybe helpful as well. Best of luck to you!
