Thank you for an amazing look back at Savatage and all the offshoot bands and projects that evolved from it. The first five Savatage albums will always be my favorites.

Vinnie Vincent Invasion was a horrible band. Not one iconic song or one to even rock. Too damn soft of a band that produced whack songs!

Savatage was way before its time in the 80's, they were true musicians in a world of airbrushed barely could play bands. I never understood why they weren't huge, I picked up the guitar because of Criss and later keyboards, because of Jon. These guys inspired generations of musicians and still don't get the credit they deserve.

I use to work as a janitor in the homeless shelter in north Hollywood.. and no kidding one of these guys got arrested for sucking people off in the bathroom. Hahaha. And the funny part was he was doing it for free!!! It might have been that fat singer

Notoriety is hard to achieve in any industry and I think all too often people get it undeservingly. I admire artists and bands that blaze their own trail laying waste to the norms or what is popular. That's what this band did and I love them for it. But it is nice to know where they've gone. Savatage has been spread over several other projects and bands. Plus they've influenced so many bands as well & I think that's awesome. I thank them all for the time we had and we have a lot of great material to enjoy. Really miss Criss. Rest in peace, Criss, but play it loud for us all.

One of the MOST underrated bands of all time. They still don't get the credit for starring the career of Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Savatage is great no matter what anyone thinks
