The guys would take the Comma device off the windshield solely to shoot this video. It is the only way to perfectly align events in the video with the data captured on the CAN bus.

Do I need a camera hooked up to the panda to get via USB to get this type of video?

oops sorry I missed you... i'm using 8.2 with slightly more aggressive tuning. it's pretty solid, but does have some weird behaviour going on when it ends up on top of a lane line. hit me up if you wanna know more!

I absolutely feel like a passenger and it's so so great. I still have to pay attention, but I am not at all fatigued when I arrive at my destination. Whereas when I actually have to drive, I'm grumpy and tired, especially after stop/go conditions.

I can make anything really. I don't have access to a c2 tho, and it would be pretty tough to build something like that without one. I don't know how much help I could be.

Anything is possible is what I've come to learn. Throw enough money and brains at it and voila. Lol I'm using 3M body molding tape and I've never had a problem. So, I haven't looked into the c2 mount or case at all. It's out of reach for me at the moment lol. But, if you want to send me photos and measurements and kinda what you're thinking design wise, find me in the comma discord. Tunder, without the Slimer lol

Whoa dude sorry I missed you. Yes, my Stinger is Hyundai C. No modifications necessary. Plug it in and go! Especially with my tuning. Dreamy.

@@Tunderslimer Can you tell me which Stinger you have? I totally am looking into buying the Stinger, I just need to know which one to buy. It is very confusing which one is compatible with the Openpilot 2. I have 1hr 1/2 to 2 hr commute 2 times a day, so I need an awesome comfortable car to drive, and the Openpilot 2 is 100% necessary for me. That car looks great.

@@carolinecaroline2264 I've got a 2020 Limited AWD. Canadian car. In the US that's the GT2 equivalent. Any Stinger will work as long as it's equipped with Smart Cruise Control and Lane Keep Assist. (The car MUST be able to steer itself.) But, to be safe, spoil yourself and go for the Limited/GT2 :)

The stinger is supported via a community port.

It uses eye and facial tracking so as long as youre paying attention to the road it doesnt complain much

It's different for everybody! Mine is powered by a huge MOSFET switched by a giraffe. (12v) I also just retrofit a set of connectors onto someone's 26 pin car harness. If you have a forward camera, you definitely have 12 volts there... It's free! Tap it! Woo!

@@Tunderslimer Awesome!! But aren't most of these fans 5V? My car is brand new, so tapping into stuff this early on isn't exactly what I'm wanting to do 😄 I'd love to power it via USB and/or through the panda if at all possible. I could use a USB splitter from the panda to power the fan and data/charge for the EON. However, I'd be afraid of there being some incompatibility in that. I guess looking for a 12v fan that meets the specs required for this mount should be my next step unless I can find a 12v to 5v converter.

Oh hi there... I don't know how much I can help unless you know the code. I used AlfaOBD to tell my body controller that there's an EPS installed, which my instrument cluster eventually picked up. When scanning the rack itself, there is no error codes. Have you had the vehicle professionally aligned since the install? Yes, my Jeep has a forward camera and radar for adaptive cruise and forward collision warning. It doesn't impact the rack at all, though. There is zero communication from the factory camera and 2017 rack. However, installing a 2017 camera from a loaded SRT does send LKAS commands - but, isn't compatible with any other system on board so it doesn't work. The camera can perform LKAS functions since other vehicles like the 200 and KL Cherokee use it, but, I haven't figured that part out yet. Soon.

Technically they are both electric and but the old one is hydrolic electric, i think my rack has something wrong, imma try to give u the code to see if u can help if you dont mine, how r u doing with comma ai projects?
