Have a look at Altamont ALTAI grips. They're made for round butt guns. They kind of make the gun look a bit like a square butt. S&W uses them on a few revolvers. I got some and threw the Hogues in the garbage. These fit the hand like a glove, and are nice on the eyes. When I bought my old worn out looking M-10 it had heavy holster wear, but the action was slick as glass. Thing online cost twice as much as my new grips. I've shot combat with mine heavily, and it has not skipped a beat. Only the ejector rod came loose. My old school Dean who was the Rangemaster had the tool to fix it. I reblued it myself, and for some reason it came out beautiful charcoal 💙. Not black. Did another gun and it came out black. Same solution and all. Get yourself a couple Safariland Comp II speed loaders, and use Winchester 158 grain SWC-HP .38 +P rounds. This is the round many PDs used. I'm thinking about getting my daughter one brand new. Most her guns are 10mm, .41 mag. M-58, and .44 special. All a bit too expensive to shoot or plink with. That gun was the bread and butter gun for nearly 100 years+. Now they only make one version.
these are excellent shooters.
Is this new production?
It is, has the Hillary Hole.
It is. It is the current production 10-14 Classic. This version (with Altamont wood stocks) has been in production since 2012. Before that the 10-14 was offered with synthetic grips starting in 2002. Previous versions did not have the key lock.

Beautiful gun but that Eotech looks ridiculous.
Eu sou do Brasil !!! 🤷♂️🤦👎
Looking to buy if u want to sell it?
I still carry G45 MOS in winter. But switch to G43x MOS in summer.😂
Good looking revolver. You did it justice by getting rid of the black rubber grips. Thanks for sharing.
What's that background noise? Sounds like someone smacking their lips every third sentence or so. Quite distracting whatever it is.
Maybe it's me but u took a small gun and made it big. U have a full size red dot sitting on what looks like two adapter plates and I added an inche with that light. U could have went with the tlr 6 or the nite stick. I have the nite stick on mine and while mine was not blue lable it came with plain sights and a rms- c red dot keeping it small and I can co witness. With the nightstick glockstore sells a $35 kydex holster .or for $100 insane kydex creations can make one also. Yours looks good , what u using to holster it??? Great vid
Just got me a 43x mos I went with the holosun 507 the trigicon cost as much as the gun
Psa mags for me
Do they work tho
@@oscarcortez5863 yep both are at a little Over 700 rounds zero fuck ups.
That holster is beautiful. Another holster I would recommend is the Bianchi 3s IWB holster with thumb break .The model 10 is an excellent carry gun. Thanks for sharing.
Years ago, the gun shop where I did most of my buying brought in a bunch of Model 10 square butt police trade ins. both in tapered barrel and heavy. They were cheap enough, so I bought both types. Of the two I found the heavy barrel shot the best.
PSA 15 rd mags are awesome!
yea but you're fucked if you live in Illinois like me bc PSA doesn't do business with Illinois so looks like its the shield mags for me.
Are they reliable tho?
Just grind your back lugs off.
All of mine shoot wonderfully. Very high quality reliable guns…
Sight cost for than the gun
This will be my next handgun! Not sure what red dot I want though. I like the Shield SMSc or RMSc but the circle with dots are nice also! I prefer the single stacks over the stack and a half’s!
Gen 2 mags work great. I have the same set up minus the trijicon. I have shield arms direct mount.
Very neat gun. about to build mine out really similar right now
rmr cut for 90 bucks..
Palmetto State Armory makes the 15 round mags no need to change the mag release no issues with them yet.
Still no issues?
I have the 43x as well but I find my hellcat pro to be a bit better it shoots the same and it holds 15-17 rounds which is a lot more
I found the hellcat had to much Kik for me,and were I am 10 round mag limit
I hear the PSA dagger mags work well after slight modification and gets you up to 15 rounds. I'm planning on getting the 43x mos with those mags. Also the reason PSA over shield is you won't have to upgrade your mag release button
How much was this gun when you bought it.
You need Forward Control Designs suppressor sights
Sweet ! 👍
ive got a Dagger 9 fullsize MOS
Still have my 380 blue steel PPK/S which I purchased new in 1976. It has " Made in W. Germany" engraved on the slide and is still in almost new condition. That first DA trigger is also still pretty heavy. ..Believe I paid about 227.00 for it in 76.
That is the equivalent of $1266 today. And that is using the feds cooked up numbers. More like real world $1500 today. I would still totally pay that for a real blued german made one though.
@@tv321123 Sold my S&W Model 36 to help finance the PPK/S. I was a LEO at the time & my reasons were the mag capacity & concealability. Used it as a backup and for off duty. I have also regretted the sale of the 36 over the years.
Buddy, if you're going to leave that gigantic EoTech on there, you'll have to put a high cheek riser on the SGA stock to be anywhere close to being able to see through it. Also, you'll want to move the Surefire as far forward as it can go to avoid hammering your forward hand with it under recoil. Guessing you haven't shot the 870 in this configuration yet?
Keep chapstick on the TLR-7 lens Light has a strobe mode also
Great revolver. Under appreciated gun that is truly fantastic. And your father in law really came thru with that holster!
I did not realize how high that Trijicon RMRcc sits with that adapter plate. Will suppressor height sights be able cowitness?
Unfortunately not they would need to come up more to see them through the glass
@@alex_and_things just get a holosun like a normal person. the only reason you like shiticon is because of military contracts.
Nice, but why the Eotech?
Do your Altamont grips feel slippery? I've heard that from other people.
I like them better than the factory ones but that beaver tail always hurts my hand after shooting
Really like that holster😮
Have the same revolver. I left the rubber grips on, though. Those grips look kinda small to hold on to.
I went back to stock mags myself. Too many issues with 3rd party mags. Not risking my life. Stock mags are small enough to carry a spare plus 1 in the chamber.
Was you using shield arms? 15mags
Yes. I tried every generation with the steel mag catch. They just weren't reliable enough for me.
Any luck with the PSA Micro mags?
I’m running the shield arms mags gen 2. I have never had any problems and I run 75-100 rounds a week thru mine. Also a katana magwell. Love it.
I also tried the PSA's and had issues with the slide locking back on an empty mag. Just not worth it to me.
I will stick with the.44 mag. Elmer Kieth made one hell of a cartridge.
no you can run buffalo bore 10mm ammo thru any 10mm gun says website.
Great video... Actually running a Sig P365 X Macro with a Holosun 407K and a Streetlight TLR7a for my current EDC in a WERKZ M8 AIWB holster....... I do run a trijicon SRO on my 4.25" Prodigy....... Just sub'd. Keep going.
I purchased a X Macro b/c I got a great deal on one. I really like it and will probably replace it for my 43X
hands down best upgrade for a 43x is the Wing by anti matter industries. gas pedal that fits normal holsters
Loved the 625. Love the 610. No controversy nor discussion.
My advice, look into a flared magwell (shield arms is a good choice) and possibly a compensator and threaded barrel combo (Herrington Arms and True Precision are my recommendations). The magwell REALLY helps to "suck" your hand up into the grip and provides a really solid purchase, and since you're already rocking the light the added length of the comp pretty much just ends up flush with it anyway. The 43x is pretty much the "state of the art" in modern carry guns imo, can't go wrong carrying one! 👍
🤔MODEL 10 WITH 4" BARREL 38SPL,... IN EXPERT HANDS,...TERRIFIC,...⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍🇵🇷
Federal HST 147 grain standard pressure expands the best out of these if you can't find the 150 grain micro option. th-cam.com/video/tKUDwW1sIlE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=7ev02HizbhB8nNpF
I have a 10-7 pencil barrel one
Fine weapon, I often carry a model 15-3 Combat masterpiece stoked with FBI load, many gun fights were won with the venerable .38 service revolver.
Nice looking firearm but if you wanted more power why not just go with 44 mag?
Because people love the 10mm.
