    One of the core elements of Core Vocab therapy is not to model the words, as the child is therefore imitating production, not generating their own phonological plan. It's a shame that in the video, this is completely ignored. Twelve thousand views of how not to deliver CVT.

    Lovely Video! Sorry for chiming in, I am interested in your opinion. Have you ever tried - Riysaballer Salient Recognition (do a google search)? It is an awesome one of a kind product for teaching your child to read minus the headache. Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my best friend Jordan after a lifetime of fighting got great success with it.

    I'm a little confused...the ending sound they used was like /z/ not /s/ so instead of /frie/z/ it sould be like skate/s/ or cake/s/ one is voiced and the other is not.

    How do I know if a child with consistent phonological speech errors has a mild or a severe phonologic speech sound disorder? How do I decide into which severity group a child falls?

    • @eggshellalien
      @eggshellalien 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      C P The HAPP test uses a 40% error criterion to indicate severity. More than 40% error for a target in different phonetic contexts is severe and should be addressed.
