Just took their tour today, they seem to have a pretty decent EE and CS program (#11 in the country). Got to speak with some seniors and they were really nice. Food options at the school seem to be lacking though lol

My daughter is now a junior at UC San Diego but my son is currently a freshman at CPP.

Hi Tia, I didn't get the chance to live at the Village. I had friends who did, and they enjoyed how much cheaper it is to live at the Village vs the suites. My parents insisted I live at the suites (2nd year onward because the first year you're at the dorms) because they felt it'd be more safe for me, especially if I had night classes. Both the suites and the Village housing look like apartments. The suites are located right on campus near the BRIC and right next to the dining commons. I found it very convenient. The Village is about a 10 min walk from where the suites are, but it's as if you're leaving campus because you need to cross a street. There's a shuttle system though. I think the main differences between living at the Village and living at the suites is cost, convenience, and how you get meals. At the suites, you have a built-in meal plan that you use for the dining commons. At the village, you pay for food out of pocket every time (unless you have a commuter meal plan I believe), but there's a rumor that it'll soon be required to have a meal plan while at the Village -- nevertheless it should still be cheaper overall to live at the village. I lived on campus, yes! I was at the old red brick dorms (what they call Traditional Halls) for my first year, which are like the typical college dorms you'd imagine. For my second and 1/2 of my third year, I lived at the suites which are more like apartments - super nice! Both the old dorms and suites have study rooms and washing machines. I didn't get the chance to live at the newest dorms, which are located near the suites but I visited because I worked for Housing as a student. Those are beautiful! Hi, so exciting you're going to CPP! Just do a little bit every day, and you'll go far. I'm not sure what you're asking in the last question, but I also am not well versed with the graduate program. As an undergrad, I took about 15 units per semester.

Did you go with CPP!? I have a few friends who attended the College of Business (aka CBA) for Management and Human Resources (www.cpp.edu/cba/management-and-human-resources/). They were happy overall. I took a business communication class, which I thought was helpful. The CBA also has tons of great clubs! I would advise you to check out Cal State Fullerton too, as I hear that have an incredible business program!
