Thanks to all the finalists and especially Marko. I am very happy about his next well-deserved victory. He sets the highest level for the competitions in which he participates.

Marco participates in all kinds of competitions? It's annoying! They are all old songs, his skills have not improved, but the number of competitions has increased! Is it for making money or traveling? All the first places he won were consolation prizes (sympathizing with Ukraine being invaded). This is actually disrespectful to music, should it be stopped? !

You are right. Topchii's playing has degraded since the last 3 years, exactly coinciding with the beginning of the war between NATO and Russia-China. I still have good performances of him in my archive but they are more than 10 years old (Mussorgsky, Tansman, etc). Nowadays he plays dolce -eliminating any brilliance- and at a very low volume. I remind you that he posted videos hailing fascist ukrainan nationalism like 2 years ago. A great artists has been degraded by fascism and the mainstream.

Beautifully played! I agree these pieces are often overlooked. Players tend to concentrate on Sonatina or the Castles of Spain which are great pieces, no doubt. I just love the way these pieces capture the Spanish flavor exceptionally well.

Finally a profesional artist recorded such a magnificient suite. I wonder why neither of the old masters recorded it, such as Williams, Bream, Romero, Yepes, or Russell, to name a few. Thanks for the uploading.

@@Taigf24 The Traviata fantasy is definitely one of my favorite pieces by him. Also there are some really nice preludes that are quite underrated (from the set of preludes, no name, only numbered). I would suggest also for Vol. II, Danza mora & Gran jota. Great job Henry! Very well done video and superb playing. Greetings!
