Even though the actors really made it easy for you to hate on Sean, if we look at it objectively in this scene, it was Eduardo who was being rude and obnoxious. Sean was actually quite nice, until Eduardo starts yelling and acting aggressively towards him.
“You’ve had a long flight😺” “No Ive had a long wait at the tarmac at jfk and then a long wait at the passenger loading and unloading zone at sfo and in BETWEEN there was a long flight 😾”
Wardo vs Sean, one of the biggest rivalries in anime. FUCK Wardo! I get you, that guy is trouble and he might ruin you one day but right now he's exactly what you need now. The most shocking in this is how much of a better friend Wardo is than mark, he broke up with his gf who's a scary psychpath that might kill him! And is wreched from that and all the work but Mark doesnt give a shit, it's really crazy to see how 2 people react in comoletely different ways to almost the same situation and you see immediately how it makes sense. I love how they portray Edu as a mostly decent person who care about others, asking their age was chad move. Also this kindness seems to be what hold him back in this cuthroat world outside from lack of skill.
Ed so calm with the disrespect in the house he paid for. Lawd I pray for that type of restraint. I would’ve been rearranging furniture with Sean’s face 😂
Why would an economics major who is also the president of Harvard investors association ride subways 14 hours a day searching for advertisers rather than approaching investors for seed funding ?
I might be in the minority, but I believe it was the right thing to do. Business is not about friendship. If you want to earn money, you should function like a flagship or pieces of a puzzle coming together. Sean Parker was a perfect IT conversationalist, Zuckerberg - a perfect engineer. Eduardo... just a guy who's adding all the stress to Mark and not producing any results. period. Although I think 0.03% is too small a share to give him, Mark hadn't thought about the consequences
Eduardo was my FAVORITE in this movie, and plus he put up a really good fight and AVOIDING under age females all the way.. 🙌🙌🙌 and I heard he had a novel out, "The accidental billionaires" can't wait to read it.
Eduardo just never got it. Even when you read about the real life version of the situation. He kept trying to push ad revenue on a product that wasn't ready for that type of business revenue and he put his focus in the wrong places. Sean Parker was a wild card but he was able to see that investment from big tech wigs or VCs was the only way to grow operations. Getting ad revenue wasn't going to cut it. Eduardo got shafted but he partially screwed himself as well. He wasn't aligned with the vision of what Facebook became at that time.
I don’t get where these all-of-a-sudden eduardo symphatizers come from. Yes he provided seed money from the start but he never shared the same vision mark (and sean) had for facebook. He just thinks like a normal businessman, a commoner. The fact that he is now worth billions for doing absolutely nothing is unfair to both mark and sean. He absolutely deserved to be screwed over.
"You know how much I read about you? Nothing" I don't know about Eduardo, but my response would've been: 'I'd rather have nothing written about me than have all the despicable shit that's written about you "
"You know what I read about you?" The way that question is asked really set Eduardo up, b/c now he's led to think he's important enough to have been mentioned somewhere. Then Sean whispers "nothing" in such a cruel way and shows just how vindictive he can be. But here we have two contrasts: Eduardo the "good guy" who doesn't have the business experience or connections to really level FB up, who thinks pure hard work of riding subway 14h a day will get him the results. Then Sean's the douchey guy who nevertheless has the connections and savvy to help leverage FB into a global heavyweight. Sean arranging a single meeting with Peter Thiel has more impact that Eduardo riding than subway for a month :(
Amazing song choice in the background. Crazy Bald Heads by Bob Marley. Give it a lesson. It's not chance they chose this song. "Here comes the con man, coming with his con plan."
No matter how many times I watch this movie, can't get enough of it. Possibly Fincher's best work.. Direction, acting, cinematography, editing, screenplay, the movie excelled at all key aspects of movie-making.
Mark saying "I'm afraid if you don't come out here you're gonna get left behind" has the same energy as "you'll be meeting a lot of people you wouldn't normally get to meet" and I'm surprised Eduardo didn't just unfriend him right there.
From the moment the Winklevoss's lawyer sent that Cease and Desist letter, and Mark kept saying "It was addressed to me." and "They came to me with an idea, I had a better one."....That should have been a huge red flag for Eduardo to be honest. I don't know how realistic this movie was even though it was extremely well written but damn...Eduardo kinda should have realized then what kind of guy Mark was.
Banan Alice: YOU....YOU THINK JUST BECAUSE YOU CAN MAKE BEATS MAKES ME NOT MAKING GOOD BEATS? I FUCKING SITING HOURS EACH DAY AND LEARNING FUTURE GARAGE DRUMS ALL THE TIME....!!!!!!! Me: 4:07 Banan Alice: .....yeah...about that Me: You should use your words more carefully next time...!!!
"those are some sweet kamikaze" "like we know what that is" that's actually a really cool and subtle way of showing the audience how sean is a douche bag. and that all he cared about when picking out interns was their looks and not their brains
Eduardo's the one irresponsible, just investing doesn't mean you know what's right for the company.
Tff everyone in the comments, if u want to create a big thing, u need to be involved, Eduardo need to stay updated

0:32 nice detail where sean keeps the drinks on the laptop anyone who works with computers wouldnt do that if they care
2nd best scene (1st is the club scene, 3rd is the seanathon or facemash sequences).
Ed so calm with the disrespect in the house he paid for. Lawd I pray for that type of restraint. I would’ve been rearranging furniture with Sean’s face 😂

I hate that Sean acted like he was the boss while he was just mooching off Mark's and Eduardos success

Facebook is trash! I don't understand how people still love it in 2023!
Chris Hansen - How old are they? Pedo - You think you know me Chris Hansen - How old are they?
Sorkin could write a scene about french fries and it would be engaging. The man is incredible.

god andrew is so sexy

I thought guys are cool.... But actually they are being who they are....
3:36 Mark lets it slip he was already planning Eduardo’s ouster
1:08 "wArdOoOo0h !"
sean putting the drinks on the computer fits his character so much
2:50 - 4:15
1:35
3:25
"forget the wall tell him about the meeting one got set up" 😂😂
this is gay as hell
What?

3:35 Idk why but the sound of the dryer (or washing machine) ringing in the back always caught my ear lol. I wonder why that was put in there.
Laying 2 margaritas on the laptop gave me permanent anxiety
mark’s “wardo”…🥺
What does Muhammad and Michael Jackson have in common? They are both pedophiles. Lol hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
How long was Eduardo in NYC?
Gotta watch this movie again it's special to me. Special movie for a special time
0:31, drinks on laptop, no respect for the tech.
Amazing song choice in the background. Crazy Bald Heads by Bob Marley. Give it a lesson. It's not chance they chose this song. "Here comes the con man, coming with his con plan."
"I don't care if he's an actual angel, why is he setting up meetings?"- love that line.

I’m fairness, Mark warned him and Eduardo chose to stay behind and show little interest in growing or the company strategy Mark was employing
I love how Eduardo slams the door to talk to Mark in private. Can feel the history there
From the moment the Winklevoss's lawyer sent that Cease and Desist letter, and Mark kept saying "It was addressed to me." and "They came to me with an idea, I had a better one."....That should have been a huge red flag for Eduardo to be honest. 00:33 Never do that!

1:37 perhaps the only time he smiled in the entire movie 🍿
It’s because mark Zuckerberg has no feelings and isn’t human
Garfield is amazing. "I'm frightened of her" I really felt that.
"those are some sweet kamikaze" "like we know what that is" that's actually a really cool and subtle way of showing the audience how sean is a douche bag. and that all he cared about when picking out interns was their looks and not their brains
2:27 4:06
i hate that sean said "bong hit" and she said "i'm already high" and he said "no you're not". i wanted to deck him when i heard that.
I hate Sean Parker the most.
Too bad Eduardo didn't follow through when he feigned that punch
