    I've had some people disagree with me but Eli should be in Canton on the first try. He's currently #10 all-time in passing yards, #10 all-time in passing touchdowns, has two Super Bowl rings, two Super Bowl MVPs, and was as clutch as anybody in the 4th quarter. While Stafford will probably pass him on the yards and TDs list next season, those numbers scream HOF worthy on the first ballot.

    Bradshaw’s selfishness and greed almost cost this team a Super Bowl. He purposely scored that touchdown so his ego could say he has a touchdown in the Super Bowl. Thankfully that last pass Brady threw was tipped too far for Gronk to catch it.

    Eli Manning is the polar opposite of Tony Romo.

    • @tomknapp6194
      @tomknapp6194 ปีที่แล้ว

      Let's compare 2 QBs 4th quarter stats: QB A: Completion percentage: 65.2 Yards/attempt: 8.4 TD percentage: 6.8 Passer rating: 102.7 QB B: Completion percentage: 59.8 Yards/attempt: 7 TD percentage: 5.2 Passer rating: 83.8 One is labeled a choker and one is called a 4th quarter mastermind. Of course you would think that A is the mastermind because it isn't even close. Well, A is Romo and B is Eli. The whole idea that Romo was a choker and Eli was a 4th quarter master is a myth perpetuated by misleading headlines. So, you are correct. They are polar opposites. Romo is one of the best ever and Eli is below average.

      @@calebcroy07 I'm not sure where to look that up, but in Eli's career, he had 36 game winning drives. Romo had 29. In 107 fewer games.

    • @tomknapp6194
      @tomknapp6194 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@calebcroy07 I'll tell you what. I have a comparison of Romo vs Eli. You might want to stop reading right now. It is about to get brutal. Let's do a little comparison of their careers. How about 300+ yard games, 3+ TD games, and 100+ passer rating games? 300+ Yard Games: Eli: 51 Romo: 46 (-5) 3+ TD Games: Eli: 50 Romo: 40 (-10) 100+ Passer Rating Games: Eli: 64 Romo: 67 (+3) 4th Quarter Comebacks: Eli: 37 Romo: 29 (-8) Now would be a good time to point out that Romo played in 107 FEWER games and is running almost neck and neck with Eli. How about winning percentage: Eli: 117-117 (50%) Romo: 78-49 (61.4%) Not even remotely close there. How about the number of times with a top 10 passer rating? Eli: 1 in 16 years Romo: 8 in 8 years. His number of years hurt him, but 8 for 8 is nothing to ignore either. Passer rating is overrated! Let’s compare completion percentage, yards/attempt, and TDs per 100 attempts per 100 attempts: (These are at the times of their respective retirements) Eli: 60.3%, 7.0 yards/attempt, 4.5 TD % (Players that tied or better in all three: Andy Dalton, Daunte Culpepper, Marc Bulger, Trent Green, Ryan Tannehill, Case Keenum, Sam Bradford, Baker Mayfield, Jameis Winston) Romo: 65.3%, 7.9 yards/attempt, 5.7 TD % (Players that were tied with or lower for the same stats: Tom Brady (8x SB champ), Peyton Manning (2x SB champ) , Drew Brees (1x SB), Ben Roethlisberger (2x SB)) All those QBs in the first list no one would nominate for the HoF. And they all have better stats per attempt than Eli. Meanwhile, Romo is literally rubbing elbos with 3 of the greatest QBs the NFL has ever seen. How many times did either lead the league in completion percentage, attempts, yards, TDs, TD %, yards/attempt, or passer rating? Eli: 0 in 16 years Romo: 5 in 8 years How many times did either lead the league in interceptions? Eli: 3 in 16 years Romo: 1 in 8 years (and that 1 time is less than all of Eli’s 3x) Eli is described as a 4th quarter genius. Actual 4th quarter career passer ratings: Eli: 83.8 Romo: 102.7 (Best ever at the time of his retirement) How about the 4th quarter TD:interception ratio? Eli: 114:78 (1.46) Romo: 75:30 (2.5) So, basically Eli got some favorable headlines on select games, but overall, he was a liability in the 4th quarter. How many times were each top 10 in attempts, completions, yards, yards/attempt, TDs, TD/attempt, interceptions, interceptions/attempt, and passer rating (9 stats): Eli: 56 in 16 years (out of a 144 possible) Romo: 53 in 8 years (out of 72 possible) Ok, how about accolades? All Pro: Eli: 0 Romo: 0, 1x Second Team Pro Bowls: Eli: 4 in 16 years Romo: 4 in 8 years (Half as many years, just as many pro bowls) NFL Offensive Player of the Week: Eli: 4 in 16 years Romo: 5 in 8 years NFL Offensive Player of the Month: Eli: 1 in 16 years Romo: 4 times in 8 years NFL Top 100, as voted by the players (started in 2010)? Eli: 3 in 8 years Romo: 4 times in 6 years (Continued)

      @@calebcroy07 Ok, if Eli was such a master QB, I’m sure that his yardage for TDs must be better than Romo: Eli: 1-9 yards: 163 (44.54%) 10-19: 72 (13.66%) 20-29: 50 (13.66%) 30+: 81 (22.13%) Romo: 1-9 yards: 94 (37.90%) 10-19: 51 (15.73%) 20-29: 39 (15.73%) 30+: 64 (25.81%) Not seeing it there either. Eli had almost 45% of his TDs from the short range of 1-9 yards. In fact, in in 107 fewer games, Romo wasn’t too far behind Eli’s 30+ TD total. I am really running out of comparisons here! Ok, let’s do a direct comparison of their first 8 years. Eli won 2 SB MVPs in that time, so he must have been a much better QB! After all, wasn’t 2012-2019 the worst years of Eli’s career? First 8 years: Eli: 2612/4457, 58.6 %, 31527 yards, 211 TDs, 7.07 yards/attempt, 135 ints, 82.4 passer rating Romo: 2743/4210, 65.2%, 33270 yards, 242 TDs, 7.9 yards/attempt, 101 ints, 97.6 passer rating To break that down: Eli: +247 Attempts Romo: + 131 completions Romo: +6.6 completion percentage Romo: +1,743 yards Romo: +31 TDs Eli: + 34 ints Romo: +15.2 passer rating So, while Eli had 247 more attempts, the only category he lead in was interceptions? And those were the best years of Eli's career? There was nothing wrong with Romo. In fact, if you watched him play, you would be amazed how many times he lost when someone else screwed up. Sure, he directly lost some games. But, not nearly as many as you headline readers think.

      @@davis2k1234 I guarantee I watched "that SB" a lot of times😂😂😂😂 90 yds in 4h quarter means "Clutchness" May be that, in your opinion, if something happens to Brady, then it's a "self-confident mental-strenght"; if it happens to Eli, then it's a "fluke"...
