Vauxhall Zafira Tourer - 1.4T - Coolant Tank Leak (Mokka, Adam, Insignia, Astra)
Another leak on my 2016 Vauxhall Zafira Tourer 1.4T, this time it's from the header tank which was dripping coolant.
This time it was was a cracked header tank, in this video I show how to easily drain, remove and re-fill the header tank.

You don't need to fit LED DRL's to the facelift, they are already LED.

thx for vid, the plate that you wiggled out went really smoothly out for you, on my it corroded so hard it was a hassle ;D btw. putting paper over the terminal clamps, if there would be contact to spark, isn't that a fire hazard? xd
Thanks, yes I'm lucky our 2016 SE has little to no corrosion anywhere. Yes possible, but I wrap up quite a bit, using large Costco paper towels, so there should be very low risk of any spark/metal contacts.

Thanks for the subscribe! Much appreciated! No car battery changes, as mentioned your electric windows will need to re-learn auto down/up. But than that, it's a straight swap
What are the fans you've got on them?
Thanks for the question, the fans are the ones built into the bulb. Been in a couple of years now, all good so far.

Oh. Great. I have a Grandland X 1.6TD and I was told I should do battery change with a qualified garage. Vauxhall have quoted me £165 to check if the battery needs to be changed or not. Not for changing the battery. For checking if it needs to be changed. For that price I can get a new battery!
If you have a few spanners, do it yourself! :) - With the money saved, have a meal or two out!
How do you fit this on 2012 insignia?
I've never worked on an Insignia, so can't comment. However I would imagine it is very similar

Yes, but sadly this was before I started filming things.
nice easy instructions on how to change a battery, not long had mine done, but I done it the easy way, paid a mechanic £10 to do it for me, mines a 2014 diesel and the battery is twice the size of the one you changed, meaning I could not change it myself due to being disabled, great video as usual.
Thanks for your kind comments! Yes, the diesels are much bigger, I changed the one in my 2.0 165bhp diesel (before I started doing these clips) - That was really heavy made harder by nothing decent to hold on to. Hence the weetabix comment! :D Anything in particular you want to see next?
@@zafira-tourer-videos changing the heater blower and heater resistor, currently my heater blower works when it feels like it, which i can not understand as the motor in it was replaced about 2yrs ago under warrenty from the garage i bought it from
Impact driver? No. Powered driver? yes. If your drill has a hammer function it might be able to fake an impact behavior. But an adapter as an impact? Bit misleading.
The challenge is that I could find no term for a drill/wrench that people might look for. If I was Googling for an Impact Wrench and found these I'd give them a go. "Socket Drill" would be an accurate term, but no one uses it. I appreciate the feedback though.

I have 16 plate Zafira and I’ve tried leds with decoder and still gives me errors. How did you manage to clear the errors?!?
No errors here, why are you using a decoder? These should be HIR2 straight swap bulbs, with no errors.

You can pull the screenwash pipe out gives you more access to the back of the light
Arent K21 the 9012 HIR2 replacements, why did you use K20?
Guess you used K20 as they're cheaper. I've just fitted the K21s which are painless as they are a HIR2 fitting and can only fit one way.
how to connect led in insignia 2010? there is ballast on bottom on headlight. do i need to take that ballast out?
If you have ballast i assume you have xenons so why not just fit upgraded xenon bulbs
Ballast = Xenon. Don't put LED in!
...but DRL lights shouldn't be on when the headlight is on?
They work as the sidelight aswell at a reduced brightness when you turn the lights on
Worth noting that it is illegal to upgrade the bulb from halogen to LED. That said, I believe it makes a massive difference compared to standard. Do you have a link to the bulbs you fitted?

Zafira tourer and insignia have projector lights so its no problem, if you have standard lights the beam pattern will blind oncoming traffic.

Can you send link to the tool you used to take off the old indicators? Also will it mark the paint when taking it off?
I have installed these bulbs and have found they have a slight dark spot on one side. Do I need to adjust them by turning them whist in the bulb holder? I know the LED should be in the 9-3 position

Ty for the video. I have 2017 tourer but the front lights are secured with screw?? Any advice in changing the front lights?
Facelift is different, the headlight housing is reflective style. Not like projectors in earlier Tourers. LED’s don’t work well in them 😞

to make it easier to change the passenger side bulb, you can just remove the windscreen washer bottle filling tube, I have big hands and that's the only way I can get my hand in there, not hard to do
Thanks, yes was made aware of this afterwards. Luckily my hands are quite small so Acess was ok for me

Just bought these same bulbs but noticed they get brighter when turning the sidelights on than in drl mode surely they should get dimmer
