    Still have fhe machine? How do you like the cut quality of the 60" deck? I run Z3's with the 61", they do good except for in damp grass.

    Its hard to believe that this video is still up. They should have helped you so you could take it down but noooooo. The other Ferris dealers are dumb not to help you because they could get a new customer by helping. Now if you bought anther mower from the low ball dealer then they should not help you. Bad business causes financial difficulty. It would be easier to do the right thing than this. There will be a going out of business sale soon.

    I was gonna buy a Ferris from Midstate but after seeing and hearing what they did to someone who bought a new mower from them and Midstate not standing by a easy fix, or doing anything to to try to speed up the process of getting it fixed for him while the company is in the wrong is very disheartening in this day and age.Things are hard enough in this world right now and 15k is no cheap investment to spend and get treated like that.The deck was not properly hooked up even after he had pictures to prove it from the dealer,It was on them. This really rubbed me the wrong way. If anyone buys a new mower from a company and the dealer doesn't do anything to help out after he had a deposit down for over two months to buy his Ferris and they do nothingto make it right when the unit is damaged with only 0.6 hours on it that's pretty bad ...To get into the details in the case its called my Ferris dealer screwed me on YouT. I'm only twenty minutes away from this dealer but all my excitement to buy a new Ferris ISX 3300 with cash in hand is gone. I guess I will be giving my business to the new Kubota dealer in Joelton Tn instead.

    That's really screwed up but don't stop working because of a bolt. Buy a new one and install it and get back to work. Contact ferris and let them know what a piece of crap that dealer is.

    I bought a new toro lawn aerator this last spring straight from the dealership and went to a job with it and the wheels fell off and no hyd fluid in it and said it was ready for work Broadway total power Englewood co no good stay away bad business

    All the more reason to work with a commercial equipment co near you that is motivated to keep you happy. Buying the way you did is almost like buying a lawn mower from Home Depot. Parts and warranty are a nightmare, In this case you bought a premium product from a guy who never expects to deal with you again and additional work by him will not mean more business from you in the future

      I actually sort of had the same issue with another dealer i bought my second ferris from But the second dealer told me to my face they did not level the deck. So I leveled it myself and the same spot that was messed up on the first mower was lose on the second.

      I went and bought a second mowers. This took about a month to fix. Parts were back ordered

    My late father always double, triple checked machinery when he bought them, even bringing spanners with him to check if the nuts were tight. After a 2 or 3 days of work with the machine, he would wash it down and check every nut and bolt. We now do the same and you would be surprised as to how many bolts are lose especially after a few days.

    Dude i get it but just fix it your self dont be lazy man seriously these things do happen and quite often the dealership are dicks not the case by me in Marietta ga we have master mower where i bought my ferris and walkers just screw the bolt back in and the tire is not that bad it sucks you went through this but next time just make a video on the horrible dealership not the company manufacturer

    That's not the way to take care of customers really bad deal. I do yard clean up in my retirement and I take alot of pride in my work. Obviously the company you bought doesn't take pride seving there customers avoid this place like a bad disease hope you post on you tube hurts them badly.

    no t his problem? id of made the trip and literally shoved the mower up his rectum. ferris is a no good product always problems with them. either a factory dealer like toro or ( have had my 0 turn for 15 years with no problems) ferris has lousy customer service. they screw everyone. not into bussiness i use mine for my lawns and pasture. i also have a large husquavarna lawn tractor. 6 years and no problems. never buy one from a box store. these are factory 2nds. buy from a factory dealer my kubota is amazing 6 years and only blades. but i bought from a factrory dealer. STAY AWAY FROM FERRIS

    I take my IZ700 to my local dealer because it will not start, it has a brand new starter, battery, solioid, all safety switches have been replaced except the seat switch. I get a call a call saying it needs a new alternator and all new battery cables and another solinoid. James River Equipment in Middlesex VA charged me $450.00. I get it home and it turns out it was just a $12.00 seat switch!

    I had the same issue with a IS700, plus a few more issues. The spindles burned up within the first 50 hours and had to be replaced. Ferris refused to cover it under warranty. I asked the dealer why it was not delivered fully prepped, and how much grease should there have been. They had no idea, and I was told there sealed bearings so should not even need to be, greased! If they did not need not need any grease then why are there grease fittings?

    They sold you a bad mower and failed to do a proper PDI inspection before giving it to you! It’s their problem . Contact a lawyer asap!

    i still would have returned that mower and called Farris customer service and let them know about your issues. and if they would not help then i would buy a different product because in time, just like everything else it will not get any better and these mowers (all of them are) are highly overpriced like cars when the warranty is over they start having major issues and we are still paying on them (but we are the dummy still buying them , anyway good luck but I would not keep that mower !!.

    Wow dud Farris would either give me a new mower or my money back ,some things we just should not have to except and bad service for good money do not add up ,I would have drove back there and gave them their mower back ( you are doing without it anyway and it needs a new tire now .

    Well, Ferris is like this in my opinion. The dealers do NOT check over mowers like they should. They sell them and figure if there's a problem you'll bring it back so they simply just sell the things and make money. I don't trust a dealer. If you're in business, you're going to have to learn to do most maintenance yourself if you want it done right and on time. Can you get Ferris to send you the part and you install it? Sucks and you shouldn't have to do it, but you will learn in the process and be that much more knowledgeable of the machine you use in business, and gain more self confidence which to me me is worth doing it myself. Not excusing the dealer at all, you are right 100% on them, but they sucked before you bought the mower and probably won't change, so rely on yourself to get it fixed. I would have the dealer pull the part off of one in the showroom if necessary and they or you do the install so you can get back to mowing and stop losing customers. Adapt and overcome.

    Since B&S Broke & Scrappem bought them most has went down hill, B&S destroyed the Snapper brand, Snapper built a quality reputation & dealer network for MANY YEARS for B&S to strip it clean and disassemble it

    I paid $4000 for my Ferris FW15 and the welds on the wheel brackets broke in less than a year. I tried to reweld them but I am by no means a great welder so it has broke again and again since. I contacted Ferris seeing as I am a small lawn care business owner, and to my dismay they said "there is nothing we can do." For a 32" that cost $4000 you would think that they would be able to do something for their customer base, but they don't care. One would also think that a mower of this caliber would yeild more than 1 year of service! This FW15 purchase has tarnished my view of Ferris and dropped them to the bottom of my brand list. I have had better luck with 20 year old John Deere walk behinds with over 1000 hours. Hell, I have had better luck with Cub Cadet and Craftsman!!! There are so many other brands out there, my advice, avoid Ferris like the plague!

      Man I currently run a cub walk behind. The cut isn’t the best but it runs. I’ve seen a lot of scag frames crack also. It’s tough now days

      @@rewardlawnmaintenance Cub Cadet is breaking into the commercial market, and I am considering trying their commercial line. Which Cub walk behind do you use? Is it their 30" walk behind that works more like a snow blower? If that is the one you are using, I actually used that one for about 3 years when I first started. It was a great little mower that I used the heck out of then sold it for more than what I purchased it for.

    This is why you have a back up if you owned this mower for a couple years and it broken down you would be losing said cost regardless, also also the reason you buy locally this 4 hour drive one way each time is pretty dumb Mistake especially when you Could have gone the the closer one as you pointed out. But aside from all that bad judgement you state you can see it in the pictures so you have a time date on them call Ferris which should have been the same day you had this issue and get them fix the machine. Live and learn I’m sure you Won’t make this mistake again. Give them shit! All the best brother!

      Assuming a lot is also a problem. This is my first year in business and no other local dealer would order what I wanted. Come to find out the only local stopped selling equipment this year. I did go buy a second new ferris the week after this happened. My other other mower at the time was a 48” walk behind. Doing several acres a day with that got to be a little hard
