@@alexmarianclinch deși nu credeam că o să îmi placă mai mult OPC ul, ușor ușor devine mașina principală! Sunetul este mai agresiv decat cel al ST ului(ambele cu evacuări standard).
@@radu225 per total, dpmdv, Astra J OPC la capitolul Hot-hatch e cea mai bună variantă. Punctează la cele mai multe capitole, mai puțin prețul de achiziție de nouă 😅. Preț ce i-a speriat pe mulți, dar pe deoparte, cam justificat.
@@alexmarianclinch M-am uitat în special la ST mk3 2.0 250 cp(nu a contat puterea mașinii în alegere) înainte de Astra și mai luasem în calcul Megane RS! Focusul avea 5 uși(toate mașinile mele au 3) și Megane-ul avea interiorul depășit..!
@@radu225 ai dreptate cu Meganul, plus ca e și cam urâtă 😁. Și da, ST-ul e mai practic, ca are 5 uși, dar pt. mine nu contează, ca eu nu iau pe nimeni în spate😅.
Opel clar am si eu un OPC stage 2, problema e ca se gasesc greu piese noi OEM. Am sficuit surubul de la cutia de viteze pentru dat drumul la ulei, si am gasit un SINGUR surub in Bucuresti la un dealer Opel. Nu mai spun de elemente de caroserie sau de interior. De cand au vandut la Stellantis, nici Insginiile noi din 2022 nu beneficiaza de vreun service mai rapid sau piese accesibile (ca timp). In viitor o sa ma gandesc la BMW pt ceva sportiva, la astia gasesti piese noi si pt E24 din 1972 (ce-i drept nu toate, dar sunt destule...

I also replaced both middle sections with standard pipes because of rust and regarding the advantages, the car sounds properly! No power gains as the diameter is the standard one!

do you have stage 1 on the dsg? does it sound very good or is it completely stock?
No stage on DSG! Stage 1 on DSG will make it shift faster and no farts at all!(was at APR garage one day and a client had the DSG stage 1 upgrade and was extremely unhappy that the farts were no longer loud!) :))

Back that day, I had an Issue with Knock sensor(4cyl cars have 1 knock sensor, 5 cylinder engines have 2 knock sensors!) One of them had some wires broken!

Golf gtds actually handle really well too.
To be totally honnest, I wasn't expecting the GTD to be as quick as my standard ST(not knowing he s got a remap)! Anyway, few months after that, my car transformed(Revo stage 2, 3.5 inch downpipe, 3 inch cat back KMS thunderstorm exhaust, big brembo lit brakes, polybushed with powerflex..it was completely a different car! Way faster!)

Kind of! It s rev limiter in order not to kill the shafts(when starting, it limits to @3800 rpm and it is quite perfect for fast launches!)

@@fin6512 that was 100% standard and the car was not working properly, as it had some knock sensor bank 2 issues!

Hi bro, i notice that you also have Airtec stage 3 intercooler , how do you solve the left hand cold side pipe (inlet side) very tight against the radiator cradle & boost hose ?
I managed to install them..but pipes touch each other- i need an RS water cooler(maybe 5mm core AIRTEC)

Did you have bad idle and check engine light coming on.did you diagnose the problem first. Ive got misfire on cylinder 1 and 5 .i know this is an old post.
At first, no bad idle! Used to misfire only when I used to accelerate(on boost) few days after this video, I had really bad idle(still no check engine)- replaced spark plugs, and still same issues! Then I bought 5 bosch coil(same part number as volvo OEM ones) and no issues since!

@@chavvy960 so, after cold start and bad idling..does your idle fix as engine warms? I read a lot about cracked liners..and if the idle becomes normal when engine gets hotter, the block can be cracked!
