Living life as a work of art! And making art that brings beauty, blessings, happiness and healing to others. Hello, I'm Tracy--an American living in beautiful Norway! Creativity has always framed my life. Now navigating midlife--my second spring--I'm relearning to love life and creativity all over again. Oh, and my cat Luna may make appearances on the channel! =^-^= Here you will find quiet videos (with soft music) appreciating nature, slow DITL-style vlogs, seasonal celebrations, book love, the arts in general and more.. all honoring the extraordinary in the ordinary. Good morning Tracy. I am delighted that your latest video is performing well for you!! Thank you so much for your tea and book reviews. Have a wonderful day 🙋♀️🌺💕🥰
@@LivelyLadiesFitness Thanks so much, Trish! 🤗 It is wonderful to you here. Things kind of took off here this week… I guess it was the books and tea that did the trick! 😆📚Looking forward to doing your latest workout tomorrow! 💃🏻 Happy Day, my friend! 🩷
@tracysnordiclight No problem Tracy! I absolutely love sitting down with a good book, whether it's fiction or non fiction and a nice warm cup of tea. See you for tomorrow's workout! Best wishes always 🙋♀️🥰💞🌺💕
Lazlo Strange is one of the most beautiful characters ever written. I also loved Daughter of Smoke and Bone. I must recommend The Rave Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater. Unforgettable settings and characters. It's particularly good on audio. ❤
@@greywaren621 YES!! Lazlo Strange is one of the best, sweetest heroes ever written! I think I feel in love with him too! 🥰 I have yet to read more Laini Taylor-she’s on the list, oh, and so is M. Stiefvater… gave heard great things. Thanks so much for being here and sharing! ☺️
A part 2 would be nice. I do enjoy audiobooks/ebooks through Libby, and I try to acquire book club reads this way if I can. Otherwise, I love going to thrift stores or secondhand bookstores. I do try to support indie when I can. In other words, I try to avoid Amazon if possible. I do own a Kindle but only read free library books or deeply discounted ebooks on it. 📚
@@mariasmiles68 Thank you, Maria! 😄 I’m working on part two now! Great to hear how/where you read. Like you, Amazon is my last choice, when possible. I use my Kindle for reading English books that I just can’t get here living in Norway or the library system doesn’t have/doesn’t get. Very glad you’re here! 🩷

I would love a part 2. So so happy that you are not doing music while you speak😂, so hard to find book vids without music. Really enjoy this. New subscriber 🎉
@@gloracruikshanks1556 Thank you so much for being here-I really appreciate it! 🩷 Like you I’m not a fan of music all throughout a video. It’s hard to concrentrate on what a person is saying if music is layered over it. The only music (composed by my husband) on my videos is intro/outro, or a small piece of incidental music on a vlog… there will never be music on these Tea with Me episodes! 😊
I'm trying to get to 12 books for the year, I'm astounded that you did 100 in a year, I'm in awe. I have the Strange the Dreamer Duology lined up for this year, so I'm even more excited about it now.

I absolutely loved the Snow Queen display in the garden centre. Thank you for the recipe shares. It doesn't look like we will have Christmas snow in this part of the UK this year. As a child this was a magical happening. We have Christmas editions of some magazines but it's rare for me to buy a crafting magazine because the projects don't appeal. The prices these days also put me off unless there is definitely a project I know I will make. Beautiful cloud phenomenon! Love rainbows in whatever form.
@MWillows-s5p Still no snow for us here, either, this Christmas… so, still waiting! 😂 We took a walk this Christmas Day-full sun and 5 C almost spring-like, very odd! Yes, Snow Queen…my thoughts too. 😉 I can’t recall when last I bought a crafting-related magazine. Like you I find prices too high, and often the projects don’t appeal enough. I find my tastes have changes through the years, even where crafting/creating goes. I wish we had been somewhere and able to film the special clouds… but photos from the patio did well! And I, too, love any thing with a rainbow! 🌈 Hope you & yours have having fabby Christmas hols! ❤️🎄❤️
PS - That sky and those clouds at the end are AMAZING! What a beautiful part of the world to live in!
I watched this last night on my television Tracy. It was such a peaceful and inspiring video. I loved all that you shared. That slow cooker dish. The yummy cookies. That tasty sweet bread. The books. Those lovely Norwegian magazines. The garden center. I miss garden centers. There is nothing like that where I live. I can give you some of our snow! lol We have gotten a lot this weekend with more to come. I always love your sweet and peaceable thoughts on things. Merry Christmas, Happy Yule to you TJ and Luna! Love and hugs, xoxo
@@MarieAliceJoan So very glad you found much to enjoy, Marie! 🤗 Oh, my… I can’t imagine seeing myself on a big television screen… but I’m glad you had fun. Yes, please send us some snow!! ❄️ It’s the first Yuletide in some years where we didn’t have some snow. This garden center is pretty special, probably one of the best in the country, so we are lucky to live close by. 🙏🏻 Happy Holidays!! OX ❤️🎄❤️
Love the twinkly music! I've seen similar clouds here with what looks like a mini rainbow between the clouds 🌈. My daughter and I call it a sonic boom in reference to Rainbow Dash from My Little Pony. Enjoyed the Julia Child a la Tracy section. More of those please. Wish we had one of those lovely garden centers. Happy Christmas! 🎄
@@ItsJustMeKimmie So happy you had a good time with this one, Kimmie! ☺️ Julia Child… ah, it so good as that, but I try! I have some nice plans for the channel next year, so hope everyone will enjoy. I'd love to come over for pie! Luna is an angel. I wanted to look at the library and see if they have Neil Gaiman's "Snow glass apple". I've never ready anything of his before. You look fabulous in that turquoise turtle neck and sweater!!!
@@ItsJustMeKimmie Thanks, so much Kimmie! 😊 I’m glad you enjoyed the “visit” here. This was so lovely to watch! The entire video felt so sweet, sincere, and lovingly radiant. I completely relate to your feelings of sweet sadness during this festive time of the year. The frosty air prompts a lot of introspection and recollection. If you enjoy Mary Oliver and Wendy Cope, you may also really like Ross Gay. His essays on small delights illuminate a similar kind of simple, but profound joy. :)

Hi, Nikole! Thanks so much! 🙏🏻 I’m glad to add some happy to anyone’s day. ☺️ Must say, the pie was good… we enjoyed some this weekend! When we lived in the capital city, Oslo, I could sometimes get the tinned pumpkin. but we live in a smaller place now, and its just not as easy to get. It is possible to get pumpkins here now, and I have made my own pumpkin puree before… but somehow it was just not as good as old Libby’s pumpkin from a can. 😂 Now I can order it, I like to, as it just saves time & energy.
