1978 Vespa Ciao: Ep.1 Will it run?
I Picked this 78 Vespa Ciao up a few weeks ago and haven’t touched it since, today I decided to air the tires up snd take a closer look as I bought it sight-unseen, It turns out it may have more potential than I originally thought! Came with transferable registration which was worth the asking price alone to me! Follow along as I take this Vespa through the necessary steps to get it back up and road worthy!

On your handle bars are you running risers ? Or just the bars alone I want this mx look on my maxi
no risers , just pro taper crf50 bars

Reminds me of my 75cc Minarelli. Rich kids and 35 year olds love to make fun of mopeds, but they never realized that when they're properly built, they're scary to ride.

What's your top speed with 16/42 gears?
this setup was 50mph, now pulling 54 with a different carb, and pipe, uploading a new video this week of the new setup!
How good is the torque on this machine? what gearing you running? carb? exhaust? top speed?
This was treat reed, ported and exh port raised, hi hi comp head, mikuni vm20 Mlm Cali pipe, ktm50sx clutch mod, 16x42 gearing, she really got up and moved out nicely . I’ve since made changes and will post an updated ride and overview of the bike! Have some sweet new content coming out !! Bunch of new builds!!
@@mopedmadness2820 can't wait to see the new content! I was looking for videos of polini 65.reed and athena ajh 70cc to compare, still not sure which one I might go with since I prioritze torque and wouldn't want it to go more than 65-70kmh
@@mopedmadness2820 forgot to ask if you kept the stock crank or replaced it? cuz a lot of people I asked recommend me to replace the crank

In switzerland 80-90% of every puch is tuned or is faster than normal
Yes, I have a good friend in Germany, helping with the tuning and showing me quite a bit about these small motors !
