😊you don't have your seals nor rings sanitized? Plus your jars must not be that hot for you to pick them up with your bare hands. I have caned cranberry juice for several yeats. Hot keeps germs at bay.
Wow very nice our too ready for harvest❤😊
I could see a few poking through and they were much larger than I thought!
good carrots harvest
It was! I was so surprised!
It’s Danver 126!!!!! I’m horrible at remembering numbers 😂
Smart way to grow them😊
It worked!
Keep up the good work,I enjoy watching your projects 😊
I bet that is so good!! Do you mix with water? And idk if ots just out store here, which is Krogers, but our lemons have been puny lately
@@tammiep7946 I do! These were grown at my grandmas. I have a full video posted.
Yallll the stock pot is now $50 😭😭😭 but I went searching today at Walmart and they have a mainstay brand for $25 that’s flat bottomed! I’ll post it in my thread 🖤

That stock pot is now $50. :/
How sad!!! I wonder when it went up!? I’ll have to do some shopping around and see if I can locate a cheaper option again 😭
I would strain the cranberries out before putting inn the fridge the cranberries let in can make it taste like that
I heard let sit after canning 6 weeks
Wow very nice❤😊

I was wondering about this. I'm thinking raspberry/cranberry juice! Blueberry, & mango, & pineapple would be good too, yes?
@@tinatriestoplan8316 I haven’t tried the pineapple version yet, but I plan on doing that one also! Mix it with coconut rum and I bet it would be amazing!
I know Thanksgiving is over but do they still have them until Christmas
Yes they do
@@jenniferduncan4490 yes they do! I’m headed to get more today 🖤 ours are usually all gone after Christmas and don’t come back till next year
@ Thanks, I actually went there and got some, there’s another store a little bit farther away that I’ll try too, didn’t have time to check because of work
Great job!
Thanks!
Amazing
Thanks
Congratulations!🎉 They are beautiful!!! And look delicious!🐰
You are so kind
I got a steamer canner. It's fabulous and so much faster and easier.
@@jinnidog5480 I want one for jam/jelly! I’ll eventually invest in it 🖤
So I bought up on the cranberries as well. A little hint.... for extra flavor go ¼ cup sugar & a ¼ orange juice. I also do this when making my Cranberry Sauce. Great video! Oh..... I found your channel just scrolling along.... I subscribed! 😉
@@michellesmith4584 I will have to try that! I did Blueberry and Cranberry this week!
How do you know when they have been in the water bath long enough?
@@ashleygibbs2626 I set a timer! Each recipe you can has a specific amount of time it needs to be canned for. Once you remove the jars from the water they all start sealing. It’s important to let them sit 24 hours after you take them out so they get a good snug seal 🖤
The cranberries are cheap now. It would be a great time to get them.
@@tammylewis5876 they are! and in Florida they disappear fast!
Looks interesting 😊
I apologize if i missed a step but how long is the shelf life? If you can please add this information in videos that would be so helpful.
@@vbryant5735 the USDA suggests a year on most canned foods. I don’t put a shelf life because I have canned items that are 3 years old that are still perfectly sealed and fine to use. 🖤
@FloridaGardenHer Thank you for the information. I appreciate it.
I want to start learning how to can. I absolutely loved your video, I felt right at home. I do have questions... i heard u say you can store them for weeks? What is the shelf time for the juice?
@@vbryant5735 I think the USDA says a year. So I leave these in the jars sealed until I’m ready to drink. Then I strain them off and drink the juice. Once the can is open the juice usually stays fresh for a few days. So I just open one jar at a time. Hopefully that makes sense! If not let me know and I can make a video 🖤
As she mentioned, you need to let the jars sit for 4-8 weeks after canning for the flavor from the cranberries to infuse into the water. I put the month, day and year on the jar lid so I know how long it has been. I canned cranberry juice for the first time last year and lone it. I’m a long time avid canner. Thank you for the refresher course as I forgot how much sugar to use. If you have not used a steam canner you should look into it. I got mine 3 years ago and use it all the time for water bath canning. It does not decrease the time of boiling but turn around time for batches is MUCH less as steam develops much quicker than boiling a big pot of water. It is also much easier than having to lift a heavy pot with water.
Thank you for doing this video. What size jars are you using. I would love to try this recipe.
@@terresatate3693 quarts! I can’t believe I never mentioned that in the video! Oops!
@@FloridaGardenHer No, thank you for doing this video in the first place.
So when it's ready to drink, do you remove the cranberries and keep the juice?
My question too
@@theresak4343 when I’m ready to drink it, I just open that can and strain the juice off. If I’m feeling fancy and making a festive cocktail I may let a few berries slide in the glass for looks.
Wowo❤❤
