My brother wrote this song in 1990 after he had a near fatal automobile accident that left him hospitalized for about 3 months. He wrote over 300 songs from 1984 until he passed away in 1997 at only 39. This song is by far the greatest song that he ever wrote. He would be so happy to know that it has touched so many people. It has been recorded by several different artist since published by The Eddie Crook Company in 1994. The Greesons do an awesome job on their version.
I love this song. Both myself and my granddaughter have sung it over the years. My granddaughter had some things happen to her when she was small and this just became her song. I have searched for sheet music to this for a while now. Can you tell me if there is any sheet music out there anywhere for this song? May God bless your entire family. Such a blessing!
This song holds a place in my heart. My grandpa would sing it often in church, by popular demand, pretty much through my entire childhood, he recently passed away so I play it daily and can hear him every time.
