I really hope they start catching up further as they have now done free shipping to NZ! Signed hardbacks that are beautiful for less than some paperbacks in the shops here is a massive deal. I have had good dealings when 1 book was bound upside down. I just love the variety and the flexibility of the sub. No other company really compares to them in swapping subs, variety of authors, communication on books that we can get to have all the info to make informed decisions with our money. I just really hope they can start finishing some series as I don't like having 1 special and rest not matching. Great video as always ❤ happy holidays and happy new year!!

I got this box and felt the same about the dustjacket art. Its nice and usually I like character art but I felt like the Untouchable art didn't really fit with what the book is about.

I really wanted the ballad of sea and sky edition and the rivalry of hearts but at 35usd for the book then 35usd for shipping to NZ couldnt do it. I just get to admire from instagram haha. They do seem to put alot of effort into making gorgeous books though.

There are at least 4 books in the Gods and Monsters series by Amber V. Nicole. The Book of Azrael is the first one in this series. The books are worth reading🙂 Despite the fact that I have a book from FairyLoot, the design from Lit Haven won this battle. I like this editing of The Book of Azrael even more then from The bookish box.

Both of these books are so pretty!! For me I think Lit Haven beats though. Their artwork, reversible dust jacket, and overall vibe beats Fairyloot.

That back endpaper art was breathtaking! I kind of like a bigger book every now and then but I agree I have to be in the right mood lol!

I hear you about the slowing down some book boxes. Now I got off arcane society's waitlist I will mainly be getting them but at 94USD shipped I have to prioritse the others. I like boxes with generous skip policies :)

These covers are beautiful but I agree that the interior art is mediocre. I prefer having the front and back end papers different artworks. Otherwise it just feels lazy to me. I love the idea of getting the entire series at once. I'm checking them out lol!

It's really cool that Bookish Box foils both sides. I overall liked the design of Moonlight covers though. They are more my aesthetic. I agree that this one was hard to pick, lol!

The audiobook for Butcher and Blackbird is phenomenal. The female and male narrators talk together like they are really in the same rooms together. It makes the books much more immersive than when the male or female does both voices in the chapter. This was a 5 star and honestly the TWs for the book made me laugh. Then curious......

Fabled stresses me out. I understand them having a section in the US, and a section in AU. But I cannot For the LIFE of me understand why they do not ship directly from the US. Why have a section in the US if they ship directly from AU? That just seems to add more time to shipping.

Great video but you speak quietly so it's hard to hear you even at full volume.

Be careful with House of Bane and Blood. I received mine and half way through reading the signature page onwards ripped from the backing (ill probably glue it back onto the backing at some point) if that makes sense not sure if these are the last books from the old printer. I loved the book. It had great banter and a unique world. I do hope they do some more continuations of series. Also the funny bleach parts are snakes. Very subtle - they are on the digital edge too.

LOVE the Hades Persephone books. But they are not the last ones, there’s 1 more! a touch of chaos is out traditionally published came out not long ago so bookish box should be doing that one as well!

This one was tough. I liked the cover and slip case on the Keri Lake books but I hated how they left half of the endpapers blank. The dust jacket covers up the side they decided to go with! The Hades series had pretty covers and sprayed edges but what I loved was the reversible art! Overall I think Hades series wins for me. XD

Ohh I really like this one! I probably wouldn't enjoy the story but that is one pretty book lol!

Arcane books are so gorgeous. Can't wait to get off the waitlist but I'm not holding my breath. I think Arcane usually has winning designs overall from all the books I have seen previously. But Fabled Co has such fun foiling and bright digital edges-also I can get them easier haha. There is a new company in Australia Bookish and Spice which is doing some cool special edition book boxes for fantasy romance and dark romance. The designs so far have been awesome with lots of commissioned character art. They are cheaper for me than fabled too which is a plus. Always enjoy the vids :)

Leia Stone is one of my favorite authors! She doesn't really write spice alot though so just a heads up. I will say I got this box as well and they didn't do endpapers at all or character art in the front near the signed page like they do with everyother SE monthly box. I just feel like lately they've gotten lazy or forget things/details. I'm really bummed about it! My Bargainer set I got from them the foiled sprayed edges are messed up. All they did was tell me to return them for a refund. No apologies whatsoever and said they couldn't replace my copies. I'm not happy with Arcane right now at all.

This book was SOOOOOO good!!!

I placed my first Lit Haven purchase last month. They're working with a new printer, so the edges will now be digital and available to all. They're hoping that shipping times will be reduced because of it. I love that their boxes all match up with the book that's being delivered.

My bookshelves are chaos. I'm sticking books where there is space.

Smaller books are definitely better for holding for longer periods of time

I've loved all of moonlight books so far! I actually like that they leave off the dust jackets since I find they tend to get in the way.

The vellum overlay is actually bound inside the book itself. It's another gorgeous art piece. Hopefully you noticed it later lol! Thank you for this video!

I also hope they do the second flame and sparrow book. It is beautiful. They are slowly catching up.... I just got my email that they have sent February's books and I'm so excited to get a signed Tessonja Odette book. The problem is it costs so much to ship any other sub boxes to new zealand :(
