What does something like this cost my guy? Ive thought of doing a small tent i use for other grows but havent ever grown them by myself. Tired of the hoops i got to go through to get that medicine in my life and u live in California youd think mushrooms are an easy find everywhere here. Where i used to live there was a dude on the reservation that grew some basic mushroom strains and good bud thatd hook me way up. Now im stuck buying ounces off kinda a sleeze ball of a dude but it helps so much with anxiety, ocd, and past traumas that its worth grabbin. Was really hoping the laws would pass to allow psilocybin and NN-DMT production as i extract mimosa root bark and was hoping to do that on a more legal bases. Maybe next vote🤷‍♂️

nah just set up a Martha tent for 1/50th of the cost and when u out grow that set up u wouldn’t have wasted ur money. So many mushroom farmers fail because they try to make their set up look like a spaceship. Stick to the basics and learn 2x4’s and rolls of plastic will get you where you wanna be. You don’t need a fancy set up just educate yourself and build things yourself and you’ll get far in this endeavor

You use the same sub rate each time may I ask what it is it looks to light to be coco coir but it seems like a good substrate

Aye if its a 5 pound block inject it with siringe 100 ml of distilled water no meed to put in water fir hours on end just inject and back into fruiting conditions go youll be surprised how fast they grow

Nice im getting into mushrooms out of necessity and plan on starting a grow soon. What site would you recommend for the best instructors on growing psilocybin strains of different sorts and material needed. Done weed grows as well as extracted NN-DMT out of mimosa quite a few times using heptane and a A/B extraction. Plan on doing a trade with our local headshop owner for a few different strains so i got spores comin in soon. Trying to get a basic solid setup for em.

I’ve never done block grows so I’m not sure… but arnt you supposed to be extra careful about contamination like I boil the water before I put it in my spray bottle and make sure my spray bottle has been sterilized too.. couldn’t imagine just throwing my babies in the sink and running tap water on it I feel like that’s so prone to contamination after

Kings are cold weather mushrooms. And they seem to like a coco coir casing layer. I did mine in a bag. Once colonized I cut one corner til primordial growth then added casing. May have been fluke for first timer. 🤔
