In my case, I was unable to get confirmation of Polish citizenship because although my grandmother had a Polish Birth Certificate, she was abducted and forcibly deported by the Nazis and sent for forced labor. As she was still a teenager at the time, there is no passport or other records. Polish archives speculated that the Nazis also destroyed records due to the war of my great grandparents. A Polish Birth Certificate was not enough to prove citizenship so once again, Nazi victimization caused my family to be denied Polish Citizenship.

No power outside the city? This guy doesn't seem to know about Polish reality. Out in the countryside we have power. Only the oligarchs who run the power companies charge so much for it that it is just does not compete with gasoline. Plenty of wind on the Baltic. The oligarchs prefer to invest in nuclear, the most expensive form of power generation available. My gf just bought a new gas powered Skoda. Here on the Polish/Czech border Skoda employs lots of Poles. They pay better than the billionaire who makes EVs in Berlin. The Polish reality is the bottom line. We have a real good deal with ICE and a really sucky deal with EVs. The difference has nothing to do with ICE vs EV's. It's all about the structure of power politics of the money involved.

This was wonderfully informative, thank you! My daughter and I are both currently applying for Polish citizenship. Both my parents were born in Poland and were among those Poles who ended up in the Soviet gulag during WW2. They were also among those Poles who were allowed to leave Siberia to join the British 8th Army. In doing so, they were rendered 'stateless' by the Stalinist regime, as Mr Nowak alluded to. Anyway, I'm now in my 60s, but as a teenager I fell in love with Poland and would spend many summers with family there. Eventually I even continued my education in Poland. Although I certainly appreciate the idea of a Polish passport providing me with additional access to the EU (which is no small thing), for me personally, the fact is that I would love to reside in Poland for the remainder of my life. Poland is the land of my heritage and roots, and it would mean a lot to me to be able to live out my days there. Cheers!

Very interesting. I started this Poland thing with news from a Polish guy (Greg) who just returned from Poland, and just posted videos of it last week. During the same week, there have been half a dozen air raid sirens where I live in Northern Israel. I myself have never been to Poland. My parents went there in the 1970s to search for survivors. I am an only child, most of my father's family was killed in WWII, and I was starting to take an interest in looking for survivor decedents (I am in my 60s also) here in Israel when the war here moved to my neighborhood. Poland has better housing for single disabled ladies with dogs, from what I can see. They are set up as variations of socialist housing units so each developer has a kind of standard 1 or 2 or 3 room plan. In Israel, all new construction is for families. The needs of independent, stubborn old Jewish spinsters with Polish fathers (my father born in Czestochowa) are not big priorities in the housing market. They stick us in retirement homes (no, thanks) or on a kibbutz by an army base (no thanks), or assign an in home "attendant," (not if I can help it). Eventually, I might need the latter. Meanwhile, I am looking at Poland, Polish lessons, My Polish Father's roots, and after watching 3 of these "how to" videos I conclude it's not that hard to do, I probably qualify, question is do I have the energy to move again and what takes more energy, staying in a war zone with no foreseeable end to the war or moving and learning a new culture and language? My father moved many times in his life: Poland to USA to Israel to USA. Maybe I am in tracing my family history slowly doing what My Polish Father did, but in reverse: USA to Israel to Poland. I was here in Israel as a young girl. I came back 4 years ago. The Israel-Poland connection does go back to 1948. Most of the settlers who created the modern State of Israel were in fact Polish, for instance Benjamin Netanyahu's father, Benzion Netanyahu was from Warsaw. Golda Meyer was from an area (Kyiv) that might have been Poland at one time. Part of the Polish-Lithuanian-Ruthenian Commonwealth, which produced all my known ancestors. My grandmother and grandfather, on my mother's side: one Lithuanian the other Russian but in territories occupied by the Polish Lithuanian government, because my father was 57 or so when I was born. He was the youngest of 11 children. I do not have a lot of records, but I never married, the original name should be in Polish records. Until I watched these videos, I had no idea such records prior to WWII even existed. So I will follow up hope to at least visit some day. Shalom from the Galilee. Aviva in Akko

@@revabbyjoovitsky5152 Wow, thanks for sharing this, it is truly fascinating! And I think you're right: perhaps there are many of us who are now retracing our forebears' routes 'in reverse'. I find this notion truly humbling, and I am grateful each day that I've been spared much of the suffering of my forebears. I can't imagine how they made it (or didn't, in some cases). I often think I would not have had that kind of fortitude. Bless them all! An interesting aside: one of the soldiers in my father's unit who (if I remember correctly) had also been released to the British 8th Army from the Soviet Gulag was Menachem Begin, who had also been arrested by the NKVD in 1940 (or so) and was later sent to Siberia. That's where my father first met him. Then later (in 1942, I believe) they again met, but this time in a British military encampment near Tehran. Anyway, sorry, I digress! But I do find all this quite fascinating. Shalom and cheers!

Hi Dear, I like your videos very much. As a TH-cam expert, I analyzed that your TH-cam video is not getting proper views and subscribers. The reason is that, video isn't SEO completed, no low competitive and ranked tag used & didn't optimize the channel with white-hate SEO. If these issues are resolved, then your TH-cam video views will increase. Do you know TH-cam algorithm which channel prefer and increase their video impression & search result first?

I truly believe that you need to let technology progress. AI brings "superpowers" to the playtable and combining our human intelligence with the artificial one will unlock enormous potential. “... healthcare industry is the sector that could be the most affected by the enormous changes of the fourth industrial revolution.” - Bernard Marr in "How AI And Machine Learning Will Impact The Future Of Healthcare. "
