pt 3 to the swap build, all thats left is the motor which i go to pickup today, standalone harness, oil pan, t56 that i get next month, motor & trans mounts and a little bit of fuel work and shes done boys. super stoked on how this is coming out!

hey man i know im abt 3 years late but whats the camera setup?
Still working on my ls swapped geni, I popped the PDM so I have to get my keys reprogrammed to the new PDM, also I got my engine to crank but I wasn’t getting fuel pressure since I swapped fuel pumps to a DW350 so I think I wired something wrong, waiting on my Camaro gas pedal and my driveshaft and I’ll finally be able to get dyno tuned

Dafuq?! Why would you do that? Why not build the 5.0 in it, they've got far more horsepower than any 5.3 stock vs stock. Are you saving the factory 5.0 for down the road?
@@jesterokjones4954 fuck that 5.0 you can’t buy shit for that car at the part store. Mine had low compression in all cylinders on on bank 2. Cylinders have scoring and will need to be honed and bored. Genesis doesn’t make an oversized piston. My 5.3 isn’t stock. Gt45 turbo, Comp cam and PAC spring upgrade, 80lb maybe 100lb injectors with a Holley sniper efi 102mm intake manifold and Holley terminator x max. Now you tell me what Tau 5.0 is going to be faster than that🤨
@@478slimm I didn't know you had to rebuild the whole GD engine, obviously. That's why I asked the question I did and made the comparisons....How the hell did all of that happen?
@@jesterokjones4954 man I have no idea🤦🏾♂️ I launched it at a green light one night while headed home, I left hard asf 😂 then every light on my dash lit up and the car shut off😒 got it started and limped it back home being that I wasn’t a mile away and it misfired on all of bank 2. I checked the compression and that side was 70/75 between the cylinders while bank 1 were all at 140/145. That’s how I knew I had to tear it apart and see what I fucked up that when I saw the scoring
@@478slimm damn, that sucks, man. Previous owner maybe didn't keep up with oil changes if it had a previous owner. Hyundai isn't known for their engineering quality either which is a shame because those Genesises are really nice and look really good too.

granted that’s still pretty light but with only 200 ish horsepower stock it feels kinda sluggish after 70 mph. 😂

In one video, no sir. I've went over them briefly in other videos but its not much Txspeed bfd cam .660 dual titanium springs & retainers 799 heads. Custom headers. & thats it for mods really

How did you wire it up to still use the stock key?
I didnt change anything, i just kept the factory immobilizer and body harness intact. As long as u got a key itll work

does your AC controls still work? how about the rest of the entertainment unit?
Every button works except for the ac button because i deleted it. You can definitely wire in and make it work tho if you want.
